Inside Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s intimate family Christmas with newborn baby Rose

JOE Swash revealed his festive plans in his new home in Pickle Cottage and celebrating baby Rose’s first Christmas with fiancé Stacey Soloman.

EastEnders actor moved into his £1.2m dream Essex pad AKA Pickle Cottage which the Loose Woman star back in April this year.

The father-of-five shared some his family’s Christmas traditions. He told The Mirror: “We’ll get up ultra early and we’ll share the presents.

“Then we usually have bagels – salmon and cream cheese ones – or crispy bacon bagels and then all the friends and family come over, we’ll put dinner on and just try and relax and make sure everyone has a nice day.

“I’m going to be doing the cooking. I’ve got Stacey’s dad and mum coming over and some of Stacey’s brothers and sisters. I’m going to be doing a turkey and a bit of beef, I think.”

Joe continued: “Obviously, it’s going to be our first Christmas with baby Rose and it’s going to be the first year in our new house aswell.

“We’re just going to be at home and let all the family come and see us. We’ll have loads of food on and have an open house.

Talking about his new home, Joe revealed: “Pickle Cottage has been a building site for the last couple of months so the front room is all ready and done and the tree’s up. Slowly and surely, we’ve put all the decorations up and it looks really nice.”

He added: “I mean, I loved Christmas as a kid. It was the best thing in the world but as an adult with five kids, it’s just as good. I can’t wait. The kids love it. We’re really looking forward to Christmas.”

Stacey has shared the rooms in Pickle Cottage which are done such as the front room and cosy corner.

The 32-year-old shared her progress on giving her home a makeover giving fans snippets on Instagram.

She gave fans a tour, showing off the white walls and exposed beams.

Stacey’s cosy corner features comfortable looking white chairs and a stylish grey entertainment unit and floor to ceiling windows giving a view of Pickle Cottage’s impressive grounds.

Her neutral colour schemes highlights features such as the fireplace.

“I can’t believe this is our front room. I feel like I’m looking into someone else’s house.

As she shared a snap of her rustic fireplace, she told followers: “I love looking through this little gap in the beams I don’t know why but I just do.

“I can’t wait for the lovely lady we got pickle cottage from to pop by (she still pops by we love her) and she can sit with us on our sheep sofas by her old fireplace.”

The outside of Pickle Cottage couldn’t look anymore festive. It showcased a wooden sleigh, a reindeer, a Christmas tree and a light up pine archway.
