Stacey praised Abu Dhabi as a holiday destination

Posting snaps from their first day soaking up the sun on the beach, 33-year-old Stacey said: “It’s 10.30pm here in Abu Dhabi. All the kids are fast asleep.

“So many of you have sent me the loveliest messages, thank you.

“We’ve had the best day and are so grateful to be away.

“I’m just looking through our pictures.

“This is Rose’s first experience of the sea.

“She was a little nervous but loved it in the end.”

“So many of you suggested coming here and I am so grateful you did – it’s like paradise.

“White sand, warm bright blue seas and here’s a little crab just side stepping along the beach whilst I was watching the kids in the sea.

“Rose found a starfish and her face says it all, he was the cutest little star fish.

“They just make my whole heart happy.

“Never had so many inboxes. I promise I’ll share exact details of where we are staying when we leave.

“It is honestly the most beautiful place.

“There’s also so many amazing places for the kids in Abu Dhabi that we’ve tried to book what we think they’ll love the most so I’ll share those places as we go along.

“But for now I can’t even explain how grateful I am just to be here spending time with all of the pickles.

“We don’t deserve this anymore than anyone else so we feel so lucky to be able to get away.

“I work away from these guys so much with filming and honestly just am loving giving them every second of me while we have the chance.

“I start back again in a few weeks so I’m going to soak up every single second of them.

“I’ll catch up with you as I relive the day through the pictures in the evenings.

“I just want to say thank you for every single lovely, kind message wishing us a happy holiday.

“To the moon and back… always.”

The couple and their kids looked incredibly excited as they posed for pictures both before they took off and once they had landed in the United Arab Emirates.

Stacey, 33, had mentioned their holiday on Instagram in the lead up, before teasing a shot of seven passports on Friday.

She told her followers: “How it started…”

The Loose Women star gave birth to her fifth child Belle in February.

Writing to her fans, Stacey shared her relief at how well her children had behaved during the seven-hour flight.

She said: “Here We Go

✈
Off on our very first adventure together… Rose & Belle’s first plane ride and ours as a family since before covid when Rex was a few months old.

“We are all so excited to make some special memories. I think I was most nervous about the journey there but we’ve made it safe & sound and still sane

😂
.”

Thanking the fellow holidaymakers and airline staff, Stacey continued: “A massive thank you to the lovely passengers who were so chatty & sweet to us & the kids and also thank you to kindest air stewards who played with Rex & Rose so nicely & made them feel so comfortable.

“@etihad you have the most amazing staff and captain Rexy can’t wait to fly us home.”
