The Tower
ITV has officially confirmed the comeback of four popular dramas to their lineup. Fans of The Tower can look forward to the return of Gemma Whelan as DS Sarah Collins, alongside BAFTA-nominated Tahirah Sharif, Jimmy Akingbola, and Emmett J Scanlan. The third series will kick off exactly two years after the second installment.
Grace
John Simm returns as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace for the fourth series of Grace. The cast will also include Richie Campbell, Zoë Tapper, and Craig Parkinson. The first film in the new series, titled Dead Man’s Time, follows Grace and Branson as they investigate a vicious robbery in a secluded Brighton home.
McDonald and Dodds
Tala Gouveia and BAFTA winner Jason Watkins are set to return for the fourth installment of McDonald and Dodds. The series will consist of three feature-length episodes, with the first episode focusing on the investigation of a body found on a morning rush hour bus. Guest appearances from Pixie Lott and Will Young are also on the cards.
The Twelve
In the second series of The Twelve, the action moves to urban Australia as two ex-lovers are accused of the murder of local landowner Bernice Price. The trial brings criminal barrister Brett Colby and Meredith Nelson-Moore to Tunkwell to represent the accused, testing both their professional and personal relationships.
