But Coronation Street fans are holding out hope for him as they speculate romance is on its way to him.

The waiter’s world came crashing down when Justin Rutherford decided to get revenge on Daisy Midgeley – and he made the choice to save her life.
Ryan was taken to hospital following the horrific acid attack which left him in need of two skin grafts.
Throughout the ordeal, he has received the support of his former girlfriend Alya Nazir, prompting him to confess his love to her in recent scenes of the Manchester-based program.
ITV viewers were crushed to see her squash any hopes of a reconciliation and, off-screen, actors Sair Khan and Ryan Prescott have added that romance is off the cards for the pair.
To make matters worse, Ryan’s love interest and business partner Crystal jetted off to Ibiza after telling Daisy Midgeley she wanted nothing more to do with him.
The Rovers barmaid was left with the difficult task of giving Ryan the closure he deserved by sending him a text on Crystal’s behalf.
But while things may be all doom and gloom for Ryan, soap fans are convinced fresh love is on the way to him in the form of Daisy herself, despite her being engaged to Daniel Osbourne.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their theories with one penning: “I’m convinced Daisy and Ryan will get together and eventually, which could be a great story but right now it might just be survivors’ guilt. We’ll see.”
“Am I the only one to think Daisy seems to be kind of getting far too attached to Ryan”, a second wrote as another echoed: “Daisy is in love with Ryan, money on it they’re in bed by Christmas.”
A fourth viewer jumped in: “Daisy’s gonna end up with Ryan, isn’t she? Gonna grow closer to him and further away from Daniel.”
