ITV’s big Saturday night shows cancelled for FA Cup as In For A Penny and Romeo and Duet cancelled

ITV’s early-evening schedule has been handed over to FA Cup football today – meaning some big shows getting knocked off air.

Stephen Mulhern gameshow In For A Penny is usually on at 6pm but is having to take a break.

Romeo & Duet, hosted by Oti Mabuse, also will not air on Saturday

Likewise, Oti Mabuse‘s dating/singing show Romeo And Duet won’t be on at 7pm this week.

Instead, ITV are showing the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool, which is also on BBC1.

One fan asked Stephen what was going on, writing: “Where Is in for a penny, it’s the misses birthday she was looking forward to it.”

Another wrote: “Hi Stephen what is going on I see that there is no in for a penny on tonight because of the football.”

However, two other big ITV shows are staying put – with Britain’s Got Talent and The 1% Club airing later today.

Simon Cowell’s talent show will return at 8pm with the Lee Mack quiz on at 9.30pm.

The ITV News will then broadcast at 10.20pm with movie Pretty Woman seeing the channel through to the early hours of the morning.
