ITV has released a first look selection of all six celebrities taking part in the upcoming special of All Star Musicals, which is due to air on April 3.

GMB’s Alex Beresford got into character as he unleashed his singing voice

The former EastEnders actress, 29, will take part in the new series with ITV’s presenter Alex Beresford, who has been added to the celebrity line up after announcing he has quit Good Morning Britain.

The show will see Coronation Street’s Lisa George, wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, James Bond actor Colin Salmon and rugby star Danny Care flexing their musical muscles for a night of show-stopping entertainment.

In one photo, ITV weather presenter Alex can be seen sporting a Bridgerton-inspired outfit, wearing a waistcoats and figure-hugging trousers.

Soap star Jacqueline donned her best Elsa costume from popular Disney film Frozen.

She looked stunning as she resembled the lead character from the 2013 kids movie – wearing a blue ball gown and Elsa’s trademark blonde plait.

The mother of two is said to have a “belting singing voice” with a passion for singing.

On joining the line-up Jacqueline said, “I am so excited to take part in All Star Musicals, it’s thrilling and terrifying, and I can’t wait to tackle a musical number that everyone knows and loves.

My girls are going to love seeing me up on that stage!”

TV presenter Michaela looked Strictly Come Dancing ready, opting for a yellow and blue tassel dress.

Michaela shared with ITV, “I am a huge fan of Musical Theatre so am super excited to be involved in ASM.

As a wildlife presenter, I don’t often get the chance to swap the walking boots and outdoor gear for something sparkly!”

Bond star Colin Salmon looked like he’d transformed into something out of Oliver Twist or Les Misérables.

Getting into character, Colin is pictured with makeup on his face as he lifted a pewter cup or a jolly sing and a dance.

Colin shared his excitement on joining the line-up and said, “Who knew it would be so much fun learning to master the Master.”

Corrie actress Lisa, who plays Beth Tinker, looked unrecognisable in a red kimono and black wig.

She said: “ASM is a dream for me, both professionally and personally.

“The team have been so supportive and nurturing and I can’t wait to take to the stage.”

Rugby star Danny Care has also been added to this year’s line up.

The Harlequins star made his debut for England in 2008 and will now be participating in the new season of All Star Musicals.

He looked dashing in a patterned red waistcoat and a pair of fitted trousers.

Danny told ITV: “I’m really excited to be doing something completely different and out of my comfort zone.

“I’ve always dreamt of performing in a musical and having the chance to work with so many talented people as part of the process has been amazing.”

West End star Elaine Paige OBE will appear as a judge on the show, alongside American actor and musician Trevor Dion-Nicholas and British actress and singer Samantha Barks.

John Barrowman will return to host All Star Musicals for the second special.

John will front the new show amid allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to an incident 15 years ago where he flashed people on set.

All Star Musicals airs 3rd April, 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub
