JAMES ‘Arg’ Argent is looking slimmer than ever after losing a whopping 13stone.
The former Towie star, 34, stripped down to his swimming shorts as he went for a dip in an outdoor pool in Essex this week.
Trim Arg braved the winter chill to continue working on his body transformation a year on from his gastric surgery.
The reality TV favourite was in fine spirits as he made his way to the water, his surgery scars now barely visible on his torso.
He is practically unrecognisable from the man he was last April when he was pictured in his Speedos weighing 28 stone.
Arg recently gave an insight into his weight loss regime, revealing he is working towards having a shredded gym bod.
In a video promo, posted by Boxup Gyms, he gestured to his sides and said: “This is going to be gone. The back fat is gone, the thighs are going to be skinny, my arms are going to be boom.”
He was then shown running, jumping and throwing his arms about in the boxing ring before they revealed the transformation.
Speaking about getting the gastric sleeve that helped him to lose weight, Arg said: “I reached the heaviest I’ve ever been in the height of the pandemic.
“Doctors said I was dicing with death because I’ve got bad asthma and was morbidly obese, which was the worst possible combination if I was to catch Covid.
“I could have been a goner, so I just knew I had to do something.”
Meanwhile yesterday Arg was pictured with ex Lydia Bright’s sister amid rumours he and Lydia have rekindled their romance.
Arg has remained very close to Lydia’s family and indeed his childhood sweetheart.
Sources recently claimed that the the former couple, who split five years ago, look to be rekindling their romance behind closed doors.
According to the MailOnline, James, and his on-and-off girlfriend Lydia, 30, have been spending time at each other’s houses in secret meetings.
A source has since revealed to the publication that Lydia’s mum Debbie still considers James “family” as he still visits their house.
