Popular radio presenter Jamie Theakston opened up about the terrifying moment he was warned he might lose his voice forever during his cancer fight. The Heart Radio star had to step back from his show with Amanda Holden after being diagnosed with Stage 1 Laryngeal cancer last year.
Multiple Surgeries and 'Scan-Anxiety'
Despite initial setbacks in surgery, Jamie bravely underwent multiple procedures in a bid to save his voice. Doctors informed him that with each surgery, the risk of losing his voice increased, with the third operation presenting a one in six chance of permanent damage.
