JANE McDonald broke down in tears as she looked back on her family life and said “I’d give anything for one more day”.
The 60-year-old Yorkshire lass opened out on how much Scarborough meant to her in the latest episode of the Channel 5 series, My Yorkshire.

She fought back the tears after remembering her parents who passed away
During her trip, Jane recalled the time when she visited with her parents, Jean and Peter.
Jane’s parents both died, her father Pete in 1993 and her mother Jean five years ago in 2018.
As she fought back tears, she told Channel 5 viewers that the beach town carried nostalgic meaning for her.
She said: “Ah, happy days, I would do anything with just one more day with them.
“I am taking you to Scarborough because it has great memories of being there with my parents.
Jane explained how her and her parents would always have “cockles and prawns” from “a little stall on the front”.
She added: “I still love prawns to this day.”
She took a trip down memory as she remembered how she used to go on long drives with her dad while singing songs.
Through the episode, Jane made her way throughout the seaside town, enjoying everything from her favourite rides as a youngster to authentic fish & chips.
Recently, Jane travelled to Morocco where she stripped down to her swimsuit and had a spa treatment.
