AN UPROAR has erupted among Jeopardy! fans after the show aired their segments out of order leaving viewers baffled.
Twitter users expressed their frustrations about the major TV blunder, which resulted in later rounds appearing first.
One person questioned the mishap, tweeting: “What happened to Double #Jeopardy today? Went straight from the first round to Final @abc7newsbayarea@Jeopardy“
Another fan had the same thought, asking: “Why was #jeopardy shown in the wrong order tonight? Final jeopardy was shown before double jeopardy.”
A third viewer pointed out the error, writing: “@KGO7#abc7#Jeopardy got f-edd up today in the #SanFrancisco bay. Anyone see it?? #ABC7“
And a fourth remarked: “jeopardy glitch. Saw final jeopardy before the 2nd round and now showing final jeopardy again.”

Reddit users also noticed the goof as one person’s post ignited a slew of comments from other puzzled Jeopardy! fans.
The post read: “Did tonight’s episode appear out of order for anybody else? After the Jeopardy round, it cut to a commercial. When it came back, it was Final Jeopardy.
“After Final Jeopardy, it was a black screen for a bit, and then it cut to the middle of Double Jeopardy.”
Several commenters agreed, with one replying: “Yes, experienced the same thing,” and another adding: “This episode was a mess for my household. Pissed everyone off.”
This was the game show’s second error this week after an editing oversight occurred on an earlier episode.
MAJOR BLUNDER
Eagle-eyed fans realized that after the Daily Double and halfway through, center contestant Aime Walker had her score changed to her final score – from 4,400 down to 1,000.
The “1,000” briefly shown – as well as contestant Jackie Kelly’s soon-to-be winning score – caused fans to go wild over the episode-spoiling editing gaffe.
A Reddit thread saw many fans buzz in with their anger.
One user began: “Anyone notice this oopsie during Double Jeopardy today where they briefly missed Amie’s score?”
The Arizona-based attorney lost to returning contestant Jackie Kelly, who was seated left, and fans fumed as she also had her score changed to her final score simultaneously.
Another wrote: “What’s even weirder is this happened in the middle of double jeopardy and they have Jackie’s score incorrectly set as what she ENDED the game with… “
A third wrote: “Oh man… I noticed Amie, but didn’t notice Jackie. I wonder if it was a reshoot.”
While a fourth alleged: “Yes, this was a reshoot done after the game! I think Mayim may have omitted a word or two reading the clue the first time around, so it was redone after.”
Another noticed: “During the credits, there was a small extra notice that said ‘due to technical difficulties, a portion of this game was re-created.'”
Someone else wrote: “Yeah this is a very rare occurrence. Hopefully, this doesn’t happen again.”
HOSTING DUTIES
Duel hosts, Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings took over duties after the tragic death of longtime host Alex Trebek, who passed away from stage four pancreatic cancer on November 8, 2020.
Critics appear to be in favor of Ken’s performance on the show, although Mayim is getting mixed reviews.
The former contestant, 47, was praised for his role as he celebrated his 100th episode hosting the competition show.
Earlier this month, a fan page tweeted: “Congratulations to @KenJennings, celebrating his 100th night of hosting Jeopardy!
“This has been his longest streak, and we hope it continues for many games to come.”
The comments followed with viewers demanding that Ken take over as the game show’s full-time host.
One person wrote: “Why doesn’t Jeopardy just make him a permanent host, I think he does a great job.”
While a second fan agreed, writing: “He really has shown himself to be the heir apparent. His knowledge and understanding of the game and the show, and his contestant empathy is wonderful I liked Buzzy but now think it should be Ken for a generation.”

Another believed Mayim, 46, should get the boot from her duel-hosting gig, chiming in: “Yes! And please. No more Mayim!”
Mike Richards had a brief stint as host before resigning when fans slammed him for his past “misogynistic” comments.
