This week it was revealed guest Toni Hodgson, who appeared on the programme back in 2014, had been sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty to drug dealing.
It’s a far cry from other guests who now seem to have turned their lives around and look unrecognisable after dramatic makeovers.
From the woman who had £10,000 worth of dental work, to the fast food lover who shed 7st, we reveal some of the most eye-opening image overhauls.
Gaunt to glam
Kristie was brought onto the Jeremy Kyle Show by her mum Dominique in 2019.
Dominique sought Jezza’s help, saying her daughter had been stealing from relatives and accused her of prostitution and sleeping in car parks to feed her heroin addiction.
Kristie was sent for a three-month rehabilitation process at the Perry Clayman Project.
She came back clean and looked completely different to the frail, gaunt woman she was before.

Standing next to an image of herself before rehab, Kristie admitted that the photo upset her.
She explained: “I’m not going to say it’s been easy because there’s a lot of things that I’ve had to face.
“But do you know what, PCP know what they’re doing, they’re professionals and I absolutely went the right place at the right time.”
She added: “The thing is, don’t think I’m dismissing anything, but I was heavily in addiction and I didn’t have a way out. This is what this show’s given me, a way out.”
£10,000 new teeth

Gemma Swift, from Crawley, hoped to end squabbles over a love triangle when she appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2015 and asked for help after she was harassed by her boyfriend’s ex.
But she was left wanting “to cry her eyes out” all the time due to cruel trolling about her protruding teeth, which had been damaged in an accident when she was six.
As a result, the show paid £10,000 for dental work that left her with perfect pearly-white gnashers.
When she unveiled them in a later episode, she thanked Jeremy, admitting: “It’s changed my life. I can look in the mirror now and not worry about anything. I’m a whole different person now.”
In December last year, she told The Celeb Report how grateful she was to the show.
She said: “I’m really glad I went on the show because I managed to get my teeth sorted.”

Jonathan Kingston says the Jeremy Kyle Show saved his life
Jonathan Kingston said The Jeremy Kyle Show “saved his life” because it helped him shed 7st.
In 2017, the unemployed father-of-one, from Devon, was dragged on TV by mum Sue, who feared her 30-stone son would die.
Jonathan’s junk food addiction saw him binge on takeaways every day and eat Pot Noodles and meatballs for breakfast.
After being faced with the reality of his situation on the show, he signed up for a 12-week military-style boot camp – and has since kept the weight off.
Last year Jonathan told The Celeb Report: “If I hadn’t gone on the Jeremy Kyle Show I’d probably have been dead within a few months because of my weight – it was a lifeline.”
He can now play football and do martial arts with his son, and holds down a full-time job as a supermarket checkout assistant.
‘Best-looking guest ever’
Trans woman Allysa showed off her transformation on the Jeremy Kyle Show
Jeremy Kyle viewers were left in tears after the “best looking guest ever” bravely unveiled her incredible transformation in January 2017.
Allysa, who is a trans woman, appeared on the ITV daytime programme alongside her identical twin brother Matt.
Allysa was 17 when she realised she was transgender and started gender reassignment surgery aged 23.
Jeremy – along with viewers at home – heaped praise on her and called her “beautiful”.
He also read out a heartwarming statement from Matt and Allysa’s mum in which she declared how proud she was of her children.
It read: “I love both my son and daughter with all my heart regardless of who and what they are, and I think the world should learn to do the same.”
Got clean to be a dad
Lukas said he “needed drugs to function” before going to rehab
When former heroin addict Lukas first appeared on the Jeremy Kyle Show, he was dangerously thin with scabs across his face.
Begging for help, he admitted he “needed drugs to function” and said they “took over” his life.
He was brought onto the show by his girlfriend Charlie, who issued him with an ultimatum – stop using, or she would walk away with their unborn child.
After the show, Lukas was sent for a six-week recovery programme at the Providence Project in Bournemouth.
Following his successful stay, he came back on the show and Jeremy couldn’t believe the transformation.
He gasped: “Oh my god, you look amazing!”
Heroin addict to three years sober
Michelle Wallace looks so much healthier than when she was addicted to heroin
For two decades, Michelle Wallace spent more than £120 a day feeding her heroin addiction through sex work.
In 2019 she was brought on The Jeremy Kyle Show by sister April, who branded her a “thief” and banned her from attending their grandfather’s funeral.
The team put her in a 10-week rehab programme – and on the one-year anniversary of appearing on TV, she returned.
Michelle’s face was no longer grey and emaciated – she appeared fresh-faced, healthy and with a natural glow, having turned her life around.
She said: “I’m doing great. I love waking up every morning. I’ve got something to wake up for.”
In December 2021 Michelle celebrated being three years sober from drugs.
Once emaciated with sunken cheeks and a jutting-out collar bone, Michelle looked happy, healthy and decades younger.
Her once dark and greasy hair which she previously wore scraped back was highlighted and cut into a feathered long bob.
Cut off finger to feed cocaine addiction
Paul looked a lot healthier after going to rehab for a drug addiction
Paul first featured on the show in 2014 after his cocaine addiction had led to him stealing £1,800 from his mum Irene’s work to feed his habit.
Irene had been fired as a result, and she was at her wit’s end.
Tattooed dad Paul’s coke habit had got so bad he even “cut his finger off to get into hospital”.
Jeremy sent Paul to a residential rehab centre in Leicester, and he returned looking much happier and healthier.
His tearful mum Irene exclaimed: “It’s the best thing that has ever happened. He’s himself again. He’ll never go back.
“It makes all the difference in the world. You gave me my son back.”
