Jeremy’s show discusses the issues of the day

With small businesses struggling and families fearing they won’t be able to heat their homes over winter or afford food, Jeremy and his panellists discussed what was going on and what could be done.

However, some watching at home felt like the tone of the debate was wrong, with one sharing a picture of a cartoon dog sitting in among a fire with the words ‘This is fine’ above him and tweeted: “#TsunamiOfPoverty #JeremyVine.”

Another added: “Positive thinking will not heat a single household. #jeremyvine.”

A third tweeted: “I can’t watch this anymore. It’s too sad. Something’s got to be done about the #CostOfLivingCrisis #jeremyvine #jeremyvineon5.”
