Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard has ‘liked’ Tweets suggesting Counting on should be scrapped

The Celeb Report exclusively reported that 19 Kids and Counting personality Josh, 33, was arrested and jailed in Arkansas on federal charges on April 29.

At his arraignment in court on Friday, Josh pleaded not guilty to the charges, and was ordered to remain in custody until at least May 5.

According to a new indictment, he was arrested for child porn possession, featuring minors under 12.

The arrest prompted Derick to respond on Twitter, albeit tacitly, through a series of ‘likes’ granted to other people’s Tweets.

Jill starred on 19 Kids and Counting as well as spin-off Counting On, until 2017, when she quit three years after their marriage.

It appears Derick thinks the TLC series should now be scrapped for good, as he clicked the red heart icon next to a Tweet which read: “Hey TLC #canceltheduggars.”

The message added of show bosses: “They need to cut all ties today. Like this minute,” to which Derick also liked.

He also appeared to give his agreement to a post which read: “The Duggars need to be removed from TLC now. RIGHT NOW.

He also responded in like form to a message stating Josh’s arrest would mean the reality show ‘is done for good’

“This is beyond disgusting.”

Derick also liked a post which read: “They haven’t announced a renew of their show and I am pretty sure with this news their show is done, for good.”

While Josh does not star on Counting On, it appears the family’s TV show could be affected by the arrest, though this has not been confirmed by telly bosses.

Meanwhile Jill and Derick have become increasingly estranged from the rest of the Duggar family over the years as they continue to revolt against the strict rules of the family’s church.

They have engaged in behaviors such as drinking and sending their children to public school.

The couple have two children, Israel and Samuel.

And the pair have even spoken publicly about their sex life, emphasizing the divide between Jill and the rest of her family.

Jill, 29, is yet to comment on Josh’s April 2021 arrest.

The new charges are related to the 2019 Homeland Security raid on his now-shuttered used car dealership in Springdale, Arkansas, a source told The Celeb Report.

In November 2019, authorities conducted an “ongoing federal investigation” at the lot, but no charges were filed against Josh– until now.

The bombshell bust comes just six years after claims the shamed ex-reality star molested five girls as a teen.

Jill, as well as sister Jessa, claimed to be victims of their older brother’s alleged molestation in 2015.

Meanwhile, Jill and Josh Duggar’s dad Jim Bob this week “warned the family” that the reality star’s arrest was “imminent”.

A source exclusively revealed to The Celeb Report that the Counting On patriarch, 55, told his children on Thursday morning that Josh was going into custody for serious federal charges.

Josh is yet to respond publicly to the arrest and remains in jail in Arkansas.
