JEREMY Vuolo did not mince words when talking about wife Jinger’s brother Josh Duggar in a recent sermon, calling him a “devil.”
The former soccer player and his reality star wife have been outspoken in the wake of Josh’s arrest for child pornography.
Jeremy, tk, recorded a sermon on YouTube, talking about God and forgiveness.
He mentions Jinger’s brother Josh, tk, several times, even calling him a “devil” and a “wicked sinner.”
The Counting On alum told his subscribers: “What happened on the cross was that Jesus Christ stood in the place of sinners and bore the penalty for sin as if he had been the one who had committed all of those sins. it’s a reality and it shows us that at the heart of the gospel is substitution; Jesus Christ taking the place of sinful people.
“He takes our sin, we get his righteousness which means even the most wicked sinner can be counted righteous. Josh Duggar can be saved and wonderfully, so can you and so can I.”

Jeremy continues: “But here’s the second reality that needs to be declared: Josh can be forgiven, but that in no way erases the demand for his crimes to be punished. Forgiveness never means that temporal consequences disappear.”
He adds: “It would be a miscarriage of justice for a guilty criminal to be let back into the public, which means the convicted criminal will not ask for injustice – for his crimes to go unpunished because of God’s forgiveness – but they will ask for their crimes to be punished knowing that it is right and it reflects the righteousness of God’s justice.”
Jinger’s husband later says: “Genuine repentance for a man like Josh Duggar, for anyone, would be very obvious to everyone.”
Jeremy goes on to reference the case of Larry Nassar, who worked for the United States Women’s Gymnastics team and was arrested after several team members came forward accusing him of abusing them.
That’s not all Jeremy had to say about Josh, however.
‘HYPOCRITE’
The former reality star said in the YouTube video: “My brother-in-law will one day stand before the [judgment] of Christ and have to give account for his actions – and I fear for him. … If you take advantage of the vulnerable for your gain, you should be terrified.”
He adds: “Josh’s life has proven to be one of a hypocrite.
“One life in public, and one life in private.”
Jeremy urged Josh to “repent,” and “embrace the justice of the court.”
He also said that he was hopeful Josh would “experience” repentance, adding: “I fear it has yet to be seen.”
Josh was found guilty in December of possessing and receiving child pornography and faced up to 20 years in prison.
ADDRESSING THE VERDICT
In the wake of the judge’s verdict, Jeremy and Jinger released a statement.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the couple revealed: “We are saddened for the victims of horrific child abuse. We are also saddened for Josh’s family, his wife, and precious children.
“We are saddened for the dishonor this has brought upon Christ’s name. Josh claims to be a Christian. When a professing follower of Jesus is exposed as a hypocrite, the response of many will be to challenge the integrity of Jesus himself.
“They’ll question the legitimacy of a Savior whose so-called followers privately delight in the sins they publicly denounce. This is why the Apostle Paul told religious hypocrites that ‘the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you’ (Romans 2:24).”
“For Josh, we fear for his soul,” the statement continued.
The couple added: “Yet, amidst our sadness, there is gratitude. We are grateful that God is a God of justice who cares for the innocent and the helpless. And, of all the people in this world, he especially loves children, who are among the most vulnerable.
After sharing various bible verses, the pair concluded with: “We are thankful to God for exposing Josh’s actions and to a legal system committed to protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty in this case.
“We are grateful for justice. We are praying for further justice, vindication, protection, and healing for all those who have been wronged.”
While Jeremy and Jinger don’t appear to be standing in Josh’s corner, other family members are.
ANNA’S PLEAS
Josh’s wife Anna supported the father-of-seven throughout his trial.
The Celeb Report can exclusively reveal Anna and Josh’s mom Michelle, 55, were his only immediate family members to write letters to the judge.
In Anna’s letter, she described her husband of 13 years and father of her seven children as “considerate, respectful, quick to forgive, patient and genuinely the kindest person.”
“Joshua is an engaged dad who gladly throws a football with his sons, listens to our daughters play a new song they have learned on the piano, helps answer homework questions, or lends a hand sweeping up spilled crackers.”
Anna added: “He is a kind, loving, supportive, and caring father and husband — his primary focus in life.
“My children and I rely on Joshua for financial, emotional, and physical support. Many others depend on Joshua, too.”
Her letter read: “Joshua has worked hard to provide for me and our (now) seven children.

“But the happiest part of the day by far is when Daddy comes home from work, and his cheerful voice fills the house. ‘Hey, guys! How’s it going? What did you learn about in school today?’ are usually the conversation starters in between greeting each of our children.
Anna has been married to Josh since 2008 and has seven children with him.
