Friday’s hearing marked the end of week one in Josh’s trial

Josh, 33, and Anna, also 33, appeared somber as they left the John Paul Hammerschmidt Federal Building, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The couple both donned black face masks as they walked hand in hand.

Josh wore a suit and blue tie, while Anna sported a gray dress and black jacket as they exited the building surrounded by a crowd of lawyers.

They both kept their heads down as they made their way from the courthouse to a car.

Josh was arrested in April on child pornography charges, while his trial began earlier this week.

PHONE EVIDENCE

The TV personality’s phone was examined in Friday’s trial, as incriminating text messages were presented as evidence in the case.

According to text messages uncovered in the ongoing court case, Josh left his car dealership for a trip to Lowes hardware store around 8:14 pm on May 14, 2019, despite a mass of illegal files being downloaded to his work computer.

According to an on-site reporter for The Celeb Report, Josh and Anna headed to the store to shop for “doors,” as a photo was snapped of the young mom looking through options.

Afterward, the pair took a selfie together as they enjoyed their door browsing.

While going through various dates in court, alleged texts from Josh’s phone, as well as photos taken on the device, were shown to take place at the same time that child pornography content was supposedly being downloaded elsewhere.

The alleged texts discussed cars and some included photos from the car lot, according to The Celeb Report reporter at the trial.

A program used in court showed that the location of the photos was at the car dealership.

A text message sent from Josh’s phone on May 14 at 4:49 pm read: “got stuck here.”

Torrent files were downloaded on the Linux partition on Josh’s computer at 5:28 pm and 5:38 pm, including two explicit videos of minor girls ages 8-10.

At 5:48, a text was sent from the TV star’s phone saying he was still at the car lot.

Then at 6:04 pm and 6:07 pm, photos were taken on Josh’s phone of cars at the dealership.

By 8:14 pm, the photos of Anna and Josh at Lowes were added as the couple shopped for “doors.”

THE ACCUSATIONS

Josh has been accused of possessing sick images of child pornography, which have been described as some of “the worst of the worst” that authorities had ever seen.

He was charged in April 2021 with two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography, though he has pleaded not guilty.

On Thursday, the prosecution detailed a horrendous video in graphic detail that was found on Josh’s HP desktop computer.

The prosecution explained that this computer was associated with the Counting On alum’s name and address.

Disturbing footage was found in a folder that contained 65 thumbnail files.

The father of seven faces up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
