Josie Gibson, the TV star who was recently eliminated from I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!, made her return to This Morning for the first time since leaving the show. Gibson had spent four weeks in the jungle before being booted off on Saturday night. She joined the hosts of This Morning, Christine Lampard and Dermot O'Leary, via video call from Australia.
A hero's welcome and a slimmer figure
Wearing a flattering black dress that showcased her slimmer figure, Gibson expressed her joy at reuniting with her five-year-old son Reggie. She revealed that although she hasn't eaten a hamburger yet, she has been enjoying the time with her son. Gibson also reflected on her time in the jungle, saying that it was a vulnerable experience where everyone connected quickly and supported each other.
Addressing the cooking clash
Gibson addressed her clash with First Dates star Fred Sirieix, who criticized her cooking skills in the jungle. She explained that the situation was blown out of proportion and that she and Sirieix had a proper showdown after their argument. Despite the disagreement, Gibson expressed her fondness for Sirieix and the deep conversations they had.
Proud of her accomplishment
Christine Lampard hailed Gibson as the "Queen of the Jungle" and Gibson expressed her pride in being the last woman standing in the competition. She said that the experience taught her to leave her ego at the door and that she couldn't have done it without the support of her fellow campmates.
