Gibson shared her experience on Loose Women, where she revealed that she began feeling unwell on the flight back to the UK. She was then rushed to the hospital upon landing. The cause? Severe tonsillitis, which made it difficult for her to breathe.

Despite her health scare, Gibson expressed her gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the RUH in Bath, who helped her recover in time for her appearance on This Morning. She mentioned that she was hanging on by a thread during her recovery but was relieved to be back home.

After a rollercoaster experience in the jungle, Gibson has decided to treat herself and her son, Reggie, to a luxurious Christmas break at the 5-star Celtic Manor Hotel in Wales.
