KANYE West shaded his ex Kim Kardashian as he called their divorce “the unspeakable” ahead of their court hearing.
The former couple are expected to appear in court on Wednesday to move forward with their divorce proceedings after splitting over a year ago.
The 44-year-old rapper made a dig at Kim, 41, to a photographer who asked where things stand with his ex.
Kanye appeared to be in good spirits as he signed autographs at a venue in Miami, smiling at the question.
The photographer asked: Anything you want to mention about ‘the unspeakable’?”
The hitmaker replied: “I don’t know what ‘the unspeakable’ is,” before breaking out in laughter.
The cameraman tried to get more out of the star saying: “You know, come on” to which Kanye repeated: “I don’t know.”
The Grammy winner proceeded to give another photographer standing nearby a hug while a big smile remained on his face.
“Are you in a good mood, Ye?,” the papparazzi asked Kanye in an attempt to continue the conversation.
Kanye refrained from answering, instead shaking the photographer’s hand and greeting the others.
The clip was shared by the Kardashian gossip Instagram account KKWLive as a slew of fans commented on how refreshing it was to see the Donda rapper “so happy.”
Ye’s upbeat attitude may be due to his change of heart about his divorce from Kim, despite his previous pushback.
SPEED UP DIVORCE
The rap artist told his lawyers this week to speed up his divorce from the model after months of trying to slow it down.
He made the plea a day before the pair’s court appearance revealing he wants to get their divorce over and done with so he can focus on their four kids.
“I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children,” Kanye told Hollywood Unlocked on Tuesday.
The former couple share daughters North, eight, and Chicago, four, and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, two.
A change of tune from his previous objection to Kim’s filing to be declared legally single after she claimed he has caused her to feel “emotionally distressed” over the situation.
KIM’S PLEA
While once again begging a judge to declare her legally single, she said there is “no way to repair their marriage” and that Kanye is deliberately trying to make it “difficult” for her to remarry.
“I very much desire to be divorced,” Kim said in a petition obtained by TMZ.
She added that she has asked Kanye to keep their divorce private, “but he has not done so,” and referred to his repeated attacks on her and boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The mother of four said: “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 after seven years of marriage, but the musician made it clear that he was not onboard with her decision in numerous online rants.
Many of his outbursts on social media were directed at her new beau Pete who he called a “d**khead”, threatened to “beat his a**” and accused the SNL comedian of trying to “destroy” his family.
He also bashed his ex-wife accusing Kim of kidnapping their daughter Chicago, slamming her parenting of their eldest child North and claiming she thinks he’s put a hit out on her.
MIXED FEELINGS
The father of four – who is rumored to be dating Kim’s lookalike Chaney Jones – has had mixed feelings about their split from the beginning.
A source revealed to TMZ that there are times Kanye simply wants to settle with Kim while other times, he prefers to duke it out.
The controversial rapper also did away with his lawyer, Chris Melcher, claiming their relationship was “extremely difficult, with little communication.”
He then allegedly hired Samantha Spector who recently represented Nicole Young in her divorce with Dr. Dre.
