Kanye West wants to ‘date an artist’ following divorce from wife Kim Kardashian ‘so they can speak the same language’

KANYE West has ditched the influencer game as he claimed that he wants to “date an artist” after his divorce.

The rapper has moved past the selfies and photoshoots as he seeks out a more creative partner.

Kanye is ready to play the field

Kanye, 43, has already begun thinking about the single life, an insider recently told Page Six.

The father of four wants to be “with an artist and a creative person,” the source explained, so that “they can speak the same language to each other.”

However, the controversial star has made it clear that not just anyone can step into Kim Kardashian’s spot, as he previously told GQ: “I am Michelangelo. I am Picasso.

“I am unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time. It’s not even a question at this point. It’s just a fact.”

Kim has been focusing on motherhood and her career

Despite her husband’s leap back into the dating world, Kim, 40, has shifted her focus towards her children and career.

The source continued that the KKW Beauty founder has been “remaking her image as a devoted mother,” and is looking to “eventually enter politics,” as she works towards her law degree.

“She’s not dating anyone because, if she were, it would be a career move. She can’t go to restaurants now on dates and have paparazzi [due to the pandemic].

“She can’t date quietly; she doesn’t even understand what that would be like,” they explained.

The logistics of dating are too difficult

Kim filed for divorce in February

Kim’s status will not make dating easy, however, as they added: “We’re talking about someone who is already one of the most famous people in the world … she doesn’t need anyone to make her more famous.”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star filed for divorce from the Yeezy entrepreneur in February, despite months of attempted reconciliation.

According to TMZ, the Grammy Award winner has filed for both joint legal and physical custody of their four kids.

However, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1, will probably reside with their mother for most of the time.

Kanye has remained reclusive at his Wyoming compound

Kanye has requested that he not be responsible for spousal support, which his ex-wife has reportedly agreed to.

The Celeb Report exclusively revealed in February that Kim and Kanye will split their combined $2.1billion fortune evenly.

The record producer has requested that each individual pay their own legal fees, despite Forbes reporting that he is worth a whopping $1.3billion.

The Jesus Is King singer has raked in the cash from his music empire, Yeezy line and footwear brand.

Both Kim and Kanye are recognized as billionaires

They plan to split their fortune evenly

Kim, who also recently hit billionaire status, has accrued her fortune through “cash from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments.”

The soon-to-be three time divorcée has struggled to keep her marriage afloat during Kanye’s short-lived campaign for Presidency and troublesome public outbursts.

According to an insider, a prenup was already arranged, pushing along the settlement process.

The co-parent’s communication has ‘drifted apart’ over the last few months

Another source recently spoke to HollywoodLife about the couple’s co-parenting efforts, as they revealed that Kanye only tries to see the kids on “his schedule.”

“Kim will take them up to Wyoming for a night or he’ll come out to California for a few days and stay with friends.

“That’s been their routine. It’s really on his schedule which can be frustrating,” they confessed.
