“The case will be handled by one of his other lawyers,” they continued, including “an out of the state attorney from Pennsylvania that is not a divorce attorney.”
According to The Blast, under the two top notch lawyers, Kim’s being Laura Wasser and Kanye’s formerly being Samantha, “the battles subsided,
But it now appears they aren’t “seeing eye to eye” once more.
Kanye and Kim are not officially divorced yet – He is still negotiating a final settlement of the former couple’s $2.1B in assets per Forbes and trying to put in place a permanent custody arrangement.

In March of 2022, Kanye hired Samantha Spector as his divorce lawyer amid his ongoing split from Kim.
Recognized by The Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the “Most Influential Women Attorneys” in Los Angeles, Samantha has worked with celebrities like Amber Heard and Dr. Dre’s ex-wife Nicole Young.
According to TMZ, the controversial rapper has previously fired his lawyer, Chris Melcher, as their rapport was “extremely difficult, with little communication.”
“At times, Kanye had expressed he just wanted to settle things with Kim … and at others, he expressed a desire to put up a fight,” TMZ reported when he ditched Chris.
After seven years of marriage, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum filed for divorce in February 2021.
In the divorce documents, Kim asked for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four kids.
On December 10, 2021, Kim legally filed to become single, and Kanye then objected to the filing.
He made wild demands, including that she doesn’t move some of their assets to her separate accounts if she decides to remarry – which she then rejected.
Kim successfully became single, and after the victory, her lawyer Laura shared a selfie in which she stuck her tongue out at the camera.
The 53-year-old attorney, who has celebrated numerous celebrity clients in divorces, captioned it; “Nice try.”
Kim also recently had her maiden name, Kardashian, restored; dropping “West” from her title.
After he fumed about parenting decisions involving their 8-year-old daughter, North, Kim also hit back and shaded Kanye’s apparent inability to hold down a lawyer in the ongoing case.
She said a few months back: “… From the beginning, I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children.
“And it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
‘CAN YE JUST MOVE ON?’
Kim has also moved on with Pete Davidson, 28, to Kanye’s chagrin as he nicknamed him “Skete” and was banned from Instagram after threatening the comic and insulting others – he’s been quiet on the platform since.
Kanye accused Kim of kidnapping their daughter Chicago, claimed she thinks he’s put a hit out on her, called Pete a “d**khead”, threatened to “beat his a**” and accused the Saturday Night Live comedian of trying to “destroy” his family.
Pete also got tattoos of Kanye’s children on his NECK which some fans called “creepy” and allegedly texted Kanye he was “in bed with your wife” months back.

Kanye has had trouble moving on, however – known to be bipolar, he bought the house across the street from Kim’s $60M complex they once shared – for $4.5M – but his ex isn’t moving out, she’s instead expanding herself.
The two continue to co-parent their children despite their looming divorce and its wild ebbs and flows.
