COMEDIAN Katherine Ryan has released footage of the terrifying moment she realised she had done something ‘really bad’ when she locked her newborn baby in the house all alone.
Katherine, 39, shared the footage to her Instagram story showing the full horror of every parent’s worst nightmare.

The star was left in shock as the heart-dropping surveillance footage when she realised she has locked one month old daughter, Fenna Grace, inside with no way of getting to her.
In a further crushing blow, the TV presenter had also left her mobile phone inside leaving her with no way to get in contact with anybody about the mishap.
The Masked Singer star frantically searched her jean pockets as she held onto her son Fred whilst locked outside the home.
In the clip, Katherine can be heard saying: “Oh my god! Oh s***.”
She quickly follows it up by telling son Fred: “I’ve done something really bad.”
Comedy star Katherine was left reassured throughout the terrifying ordeal by revealing her daughter was asleep and in a safe place and that she managed to solve her dilemma in under ‘ten minuets’, something she put down to being ‘nearly 40’.
She shared an image to her stories the following day showing her cuddling her daughter all safe back inside the house.
The footage was originally shared by the star’s partner Bobby Koostra, who joked: “My wife locked the baby in the house to get me home from the golf course immediately.”
In a follow-up video, the star said: “Sorry for posting yesterday’s dramatic video with no resolution. A lot of people, especially Gen Zs, are like, ‘How did he know you needed rescuing? How did he save you if you didn’t have a phone? What did you do?’
“And we asked Violet after showing her the video, ‘What would you do?’ She was like, ‘Throw a brick through the window.'”
She teased that fans would have to tune into her next podcast to discover how she managed to fix the ordeal.
Katherine is already mum to daughter, Violet, 12, who she shares with her ex-husband.
She and partner Bobby Kootstra – who have been together since 2019 – welcomed their son Fred, one, into the world in June 2021.
The Canadian celeb announced that she was expecting her third child back in July.
