And following her appearance on Tuesday’s show, fans are now predicting that Katie could win after impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

The former glamour model competed against TV presenter Dion Dublin, former EastEnders star Joe Swash, and Life actress Melissa Johns on the latest installment.

Katie sailed through the first challenge, managing to correctly identify all the tropical fruits correctly before going on to serve a tasty sweetcorn fritter and smashed avocado dish.

She then received praise from Greg in the third challenge, where she made a “fantastic” langoustine and chicken dumplings in a chicken and dashi broth.

Viewers at home took to Twitter to predict a win for Katie, with many praising her for remaining calm under pressure.

“Katie Price is absolutely owning Masterchef,” one viewer penned.

Another said: “Katie price on MasterChef has me surprised tbh,” while another added: “Watching Celebrity Masterchef….really impressed by Katie Price.”

“That food @KatiePrice cooked on celebrity MasterChef tonight looked banging. Made me want a curry now,” another fan added.

On Monday’s show, the Mum of five also managed to win over the judges with her unusual take on mash potatoes after revealing she prefers to leave the skin on them.

Judge Gregg grimaced when Katie explained: “I cook my mash different, everyone always says, ‘Why do you keep the skins on your potatoes?’ Now the skin is good for you, I like the skin.”

But he was later forced to eat his words – as well as the mash – and gave Katie some positive feedback.

Celebrity MasterChef is playing out over the course of six weeks and 18 episodes and will air on BBC One.
