Katie Price Mucky Mansion viewers all have the same complaint as new series airs after latest arrest

KATIE Price’s Mucky Mansion viewers voiced their anger tonight that the show was being screened at all after Katie’s latest arrest.

The 43-year-old spent a night in the cells on Friday after sending ex-husband Kieran Hayler a text abusing his fiancée Michelle Penticost.

It came hot on the heels of her online outburst criticising ex-husband Peter Andre’s wife Emily on social media and a month after she was given a suspended sentence for a drink drive crash.

One disgruntled viewer wrote on Twitter: “Whoever at Channel 4 decided to put Katie Price on television needs put in a room and left there alone for five years.”

A second posted: “you should be ashamed showing #katieprice latest attempt to get sympathy for her life after the drug user drunkard showed she is just a selfish cow that should be behind bars.”

A third said: “Shame on @Channel4 showing a programme about Katie Price despite recent events…”

The Mucky Mansion series shows Katie transforming her dilapidated home after years of neglect.

In episode one Katie told how vandals ransacked the property and fly-tippers littered its grounds with rubbish.

But with the help of handyman Steve, she has slowly but surely gone about turning its fortunes around with the hope it will become a happy family home once again.

Her youngest son Jett’s once plain and boring bedroom was given a new lease of life and turned into an exotic jungle paradise.

The seven-year-old’s name lit up the wall in orange neon, while his raised bed took centre stage with giant leaves reaching out over the top.

Katie put her creativity to good use gluing cuddly animals onto the wall, while at the far end a rope ran across the ceiling and more animals were packed into crates.

She and eldest son Harvey shopped for fake grass to be used on the walls and a trellis covered in foliage to act as the bed’s headboard.

Citing Jurassic park as her inspiration, she said: “Jett loves the outdoors. I want it to be like a den for him.”

“Jett’s a very lucky boy. It’s going to look amazing. I love a garden centre, I must be getting old.”

The youngster loved his new-look room, telling his mum “everything” was his favourite.

Sister Princess, 14, gave it her approval, saying: “His room is actually amazing. It’s better than I thought.”

Reflecting on a job well done, Katie said: “So this is the first room of the house done. Everyone’s loving it. I love how Jett’s looking at all the stuff I’ve made. All that hard work, it’s been a success. One child done, one child happy, four more to go… oh and I’ve got my bedroom too.”

Viewers were equally as impressed, with one writing on Twitter: “Jett’s bedroom looks Amazing! Well done.”

A second said: “Actually that room looks cool. I hope Jet likes it.”

A third posted: “Jett’s room is lovely.”
