Bosses Want to Spice Up All Stars Series
Katie Price is reportedly being lined up for a huge return to I'm A Celebrity as bosses are eager to "spice up" the All Stars series. The pre-filmed show, known as I'm A Celebrity South Africa, is set to return in 2024 and producers are keen to bring back the mum of five for a memorable third stint on the show.
A Bigger Splash
According to a source, the first All Stars series played it safe with names that wouldn't create controversy. However, it didn't have the same impact as the regular show. To make a bigger splash this time, producers want to bring back more divisive characters, and Katie Price is high on their wish list. Love her or hate her, people can't stop talking about her, and that's the kind of draw card the South Africa series was lacking last time around.
Possibility of Return
Katie's friends believe that she would be up for returning to the show. She previously took part in the show in 2004, where she met her ex-husband Peter Andre, and again in 2009, where she left after a week due to being voted to do every trial. Katie has expressed regret about leaving the second time and has said that she would be keen to go back. The pre-recorded element of the show would appeal to her as it would prevent the public from voting for her to do trials.
ITV and Katie Price have been contacted for comment.
Overall, Katie Price's potential return to I'm A Celebrity is expected to add excitement to the All Stars series and generate buzz among viewers. Whether you love her or hate her, it's undeniable that Katie Price brings a certain level of intrigue to the show.
