KATIE Price’s terminally-ill mum Amy has revealed the off-the-cuff comment which sparked her daughter’s surgery obsession.
Amy Price, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IFP) in 2017, gave the telling clue on Channel 4 series Steph’s Packed Lunch.

She told the audience how Katie, 45, had once been told she had “small boobs” – and added: “That started it off.”
Katie is definitely no stranger to going under the knife.
Just recently, Katie revealed the real reason behind her multiple surgeries – yet Amy this week swiftly branded her new boobs “ridiculous.”
In January, before flying out to Belgium for her surgery, a source told The Sun: “Katie is getting massive 2120 CC implants.
“She wants to have the biggest boobs in the country, and these will certainly set her on her way to that goal.”
The mum-of-five then opened up on her biggest boob job ever.
During the first episode of her new podcast with sister Sophie – The Katie Price Show – Katie also addressed her love of a nip and tuck.
She said: “I have loads of surgery because I don’t look in the mirror and think I am good looking.”
Katie’s frank confession also came after mum Amy shared her own thoughts behind her daughter’s many surgical procedures.
In an extract from her book, serialised by The Celeb Report, Amy writes: “When most people have an off day or are feeling a bit down, they change the colour of their nails or dye their hair, but Kate changes the shape of her body.
“It’s usually her boobs, although she has had liposuction, a mini facelift, a brow lift and a bum lift.
“Attracting men is not her motivation. She does it because she thinks it makes her in control of her body.
“Over the years, we have all come to accept it as part of Kate’s personality, but we have also seen a pattern emerging — relationship difficulties correlate with an urge to change things on the outside, even though it is her inner thoughts and feelings that need attention.
“I’ve begun to warn her that if she’s not careful, she will end up looking like the Bride of Frankenstein, but she tells me not to waste my breath.”
