Kerry Katona cries she ‘hates herself’ and has ‘messed with her body too much’ as she strips for The Big Celebrity Detox

KERRY Katona broke down in tears and insisted that she “hates herself” after getting naked on The Big Celebrity Detox.

The OnlyFans star, 42, confessed to having major hang ups after ‘messing with her body’ with numerous cosmetic surgeries over the years.

With tears rolling down her face, Kerry confessed she is struggling to accept that she is “middle-aged”.

Standing topless while being made to look in a mirror, Kerry said: “I have so much shame. I feel swollen. I hate myself at the moment, if I’m honest.

“The one thing I hate at the minute is myself. Honest to God.”

She continued: “I have messed with my body so much to try to chase something and look a certain way.

“It’s almost like I’m not accepting that I’m middle-aged.”

Kerry and the rest of her Big Celebrity Detox co-stars were told in Wednesday’s episode that they would be ‘mirror gazing’.

This involved painting their least favourite body part with pretty body paint and then staring at themselves in a giant mirror placed in the forest.

But initially, Kerry – together with co-star David Potts – refused to even take part.

“I am really not comfortable with my body and really unhappy with who I am,” she said.

“People will be shocked because I do OnlyFans, but to stand in a mirror and completely look at yourself…”

Kerry found fame in girl group Atomic Kitten in 1998.

She is now a mum to five kids – grown up daughters Molly and Lilly-Sue, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and nine-year-old Dylan-Jorge (DJ).

Over the years, Kerry has undergone countless cosmetic surgeries and procedures to tweak her appearance.

Most recently, she underwent a boob reduction and was given a bust lift in August last year.

She decided her previous implants were too big and complained that they made her look like the Sugar Puffs Honey Monster.

But in a piece to camera in the latest episode of The Big Celebrity Detox, Kerry said: “How do I have any right to tell my girls to accept their beautiful bodies as they are when I can’t accept mine?”

Kerry wasn’t the only Big Celebrity Detox in-mate to struggle with the ‘mirror gazing’ task.

She only ended up agreeing to take part if she could do it with Ibiza Weekender‘s David, who had also initially refused to get naked too.

Homes Under The Hammer’s Martin Roberts, meanwhile, cried about the bullying he suffered as a child as he bravely stripped bare.
