KERRY Katona has fuelled speculation that she is The Masked Singer’s Firework after fans insisted they’d put money on it being her.
Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 41, addressed the rumours, saying she finds them “so funny”, but didn’t deny them.
Writing in her column for new!, she said: “A few people have beKIten asking if I’m Firework on The Masked Singer, which I find so funny.
“There have been a few now I’ve been mentioned on that show – a lot of people thought I was on it last year.
“I haven’t been watching it this year, as I’ve been too busy binge-watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I’m completely obsessed with it.”
Firework’s most recent performance on the ITV show was King’s of Leon hit Sex on Fire – and fans flocked to social media to insist it was Kerry behind the mast.
One wrote: “Firework is Kerry Katona! I’m willing to put money on it.”
Another said: “Firework sounds like Kerry Katona to me. Sticking with that.”
And a third added: “I think Firework is Kerry Katona. It sounds just like her!”
The identity of Firework has had viewers stumped this series, with previous popular guesses including Pixie Lott and Michelle Keegan.
Love Island winner Amber Davies and Married at First Sight’s Amy Christopher have also been named as potential celebrities under the mask.
But others believe Firework is actually a Coronation Street and Emmerdale actress.
Last week there was a reference to a street – pointing to Hayley Tamaddon‘s role as Andrea Beckett on Corrie.
