Kim Kardashian is selling her Balenciaga clothes to fans for a jaw-dropping $36K after cutting ties with disgraced brand

KIM Kardashian has begun to sell her Balenciaga clothes to fans after cutting ties with the disgraced high-fashion brand.

The Hulu star is selling $36,000 worth of the brand’s clothing and accessories on her family’s designer clothing resale site, Kardashian Kloset.

It seems that Kim, 42, is attempting to purge her personal closet of any items associated with Balenciaga, as much of the listed clothing comes from the Italian fashion house.

Prices of the resale items differed wildly, from a $350 scarf to a mocha brown tracksuit costing $1,515.

One particular item described as a rare “multi-colored tonal blue and black glass beaded and sequined embroidered hourglass” Balenciaga coat would set its purchaser back $10,395.

Altogether, the Balenciaga clothing offered on Kim’s Collection of the resale site totaled approximately $36,000.

Kim’s dispensing of the brand’s apparel appears to be in response to fan backlash regarding how she handled the controversy surrounding the company.

The luxury brand found itself in hot water after running advertisements that portrayed children holding BDSM accessories.

Kim responded to the backlash on Twitter, writing: “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images.

“The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.”

“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again,” the Hulu star concluded.

‘CUTTING TIES OR NOT?’

Kardashian fans, however, were not buying it as one angry follower replied: “This is laughable at best. And it’s only because they cut you a check- quit playing.”

“I can see now why Kanye [West] wants to protect his kids at all costs! Pathetic statement!” wrote another.

“So are you cutting ties with them?” asked a third as Kim has partnered with the fashion house for years.

A fourth similarly wondered: “Will you still represent them?”

Another critic chimed in: “I don’t believe that you’re being sincere at all. I think you were just hoping that it would blow over. Seems like it’s more about money for you.”

When another asked what they expected Kim to do, someone else wrote: “She could’ve immediately QUIT, and she didn’t need to check with the team or a lawyer as a mother she should’ve been outraged. You’re putting her on a pedestal it’s gross.”

An hour later, Kim responded again with another tweet.

“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.”

Amid the drama, Kim was slammed for seemingly standing by the brand after the reality star shared a photo of herself sporting pieces from the Adidas x Balenciaga collaboration.

Kim’s ex Kanye West, 45, was recently dropped by both brands following shocking comments.

CONTROVERSIAL CAMPAGIN

According to TMZ, Balenciaga has blamed “the set designer and production co. heading the campaign suing both parties for $25M this weekend.”

The high-fashion brand shared a series of ads featuring kids, one of which also showed what appeared to be documents pertaining to a child pornography case in the Supreme Court sitting on a desk.

According to a Fox News report, photographer Gabriele Galimberti said the pics were part of a series called “Toy Stories.”

Others showed young girls posing in suggestive positions, alongside teddy bears and dominatrix-inspired leather outfits, and other BDSM toys.

The photographer who shot it said he had no control over the set choices per TMZ — but Balenciaga also said they had “no knowledge of the items being staged the way they were” per the outlet despite running it.
