KIM Kardashian was called out and accused of being “self-centered” after she shared sexy photos of herself in a tribute post to her late friend Thierry Mugler.
The iconic fashion designer passed away suddenly on January 23rd at the age of 73.
It all kicked off when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum took to Instagram to remember the star.
In a lengthy caption, she wrote: “My heart breaks. There’s no one like you! Your vision, your transformations, your magic! I am so honored to have known you, spent time with you and be a muse for you.
“There was so much more for you to show the world and that we had planned to do together, but you already gave us so much. I will never forget our time together around the world and learning from the master himself on what couture really meant!”
She concluded: “You always said beauty will save the world – and you really believed it was a better place because of the beauty all around! Thank you for the beauty. I love you so much…”
While Kim shared a few photos of her with Thierry, she also included various pics of her in different outfits and dresses.
One of the dresses featured was Kim’s 2019 Met Gala look, while others had her posing backstage at events while showing off her head-turning looks.
However, these solo snaps led some fans to rip the TV star as they accused her of making the post more about herself.
One fan wrote: “I still don’t understand, was the tribute for him or for her? Two photos of him and the rest is all her. How much self-centeredness.”
Another agreed and harshly added: “Literally just pictures of you. Post him instead, weirdo.”
While a third chimed in with: “Were you posting him or yourself?”
‘ALL IN MUGLER’
Kim’s sister Kourtney also seemed to focus on herself and her famous family in her own tribute to Thierry.
The mom of three uploaded a fashion shoot snap to her Instagram Stories which showed Kourtney in a cleavage-baring top.
Kim, 41, was also in the pic wearing a matching black outfit while Khloe sported a crisp white suit.
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, 66, looked glam in a black skirt split to the top of her thigh, as youngest daughters Kendall, 26, and Kylie, 24, dressed in corsets and high heels, rested on her shoulders.
Kourtney, 42, captioned the image: “All in Mugler,” followed by a broken heart emoji.
THIERRY’S PASSING
News of Thierry’s passing was confirmed on his official Instagram as it read: “We are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd 2022. May his soul Rest In Peace.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Aside from Kim, Thierry also dressed some big time names including Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and others.
