KIM Kardashian has come under fire from Cher Lloyd and Jameela Jamil for telling women “get your a** to f***ing work” in a shocking rant.
Kim, 41, added “it seems nobody wants to work these days” in an interview with Variety ahead of the release of her family’s new show, The Kardashians.
The superstar has faced huge criticism for her “tone deaf” comments and outspoken presenter Jameela has now waded in, saying she’s sick of millionaire celebrities criticising those who’ve had less in life.
Jameela, 36, tweeted: “I think if you grew up in Beverly Hills with super successful parents in what was simply a smaller mansion nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success / work ethic.
“This same 24 hours in the day s**t is a nightmare. 99% of the world grew up with a very different 24 hours.”
Cher Lloyd, who went from rags to riches when she appeared on the X Factor in 2009, made her feelings known by sharing Jameela’s tweet on Instagram.
The singer grew up with her parents and three siblings in a council house in Malvern, Worcestershire, and was bullied at school because of her Romany heritage.
She relocated to LA after Simon Cowell signed her and she went on to crack the US charts.
Jameela grew up in London’s wealthy Hampstead to Indian and Pakistani parents.
She reacted with fury to Kim’s outburst, after the millionaire said “I have the best advice for women in business” in a now viral video clip also featuring his family.
Kim continued: “Get your f ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”
After her mother Kris and sister Kourtney agreed with Kim’s statement, she continued: “You have to surround yourself with people that want to work.
“Have a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have one life.
“No toxic work environments and show up and do the work.”
Her sister Khloe added: “If you’re the smartest person in that room, you’ve gotta go to another room.”
While Kim’s family agreed with her opinion, fans were quick to slam the SKIMS mogul for her “out of touch” take.
‘SCREAMS OF PRIVILEGE’
After the video was shared by Kardashian fan account Kardashianvideo, one critic wrote in the comments section: “I love the ladies, but this screams of privilege. I’m sorry it’s not so easy for many.
“This notion that no one wants to work is wrong, and is a tired argument billionaires use to put down the working class.”
Another added: “They have no idea how the ‘real’ world works. Many women aren’t able to get the babysitters and luxury things in their everyday life, that they have.”
A third chimed in: “This statement sounded like a toxic boss that can’t find people for a vacancy because he is offering s***ty conditions.”
The backlash continued as another Instagram user commented: “She sounds so ignorant!! Not many people can choose a healthy work environment!! Like shut up if you don’t know what a real, every day, corporate America looks like.”
“I really hate when they say things like that. I seems like they don’t realize how privileged they are,” someone else wrote.
MONEY ALWAYS MATTERS
Kim and Kourtney also spoke about when they’ll quit reality TV for good during the interview.
When asked if she plans on saying goodbye to reality television in the future, Kim said she “sometimes” considers that to be “the dream.”
She added that then maybe she “can stop being Kim K. in 10 years.”
However, Kris insisted when asked why they had decided to film another show: “Well, money always matters.
“I think that anybody would be foolish to say that money doesn’t matter anymore.”
