The news comes months after his split from Kim Kardashian

The U.S. Sun has exclusively learned that Pete, 28, ran into some trouble on the set of Bupkis, a TV show he’s currently filming.

A source close to production claimed that “Pete had a meltdown” on the set Thursday evening.

“Pete threw two candles through his trailer and damaged a second truck’s windshield,” the insider revealed.

“He also threw coffee on the walls and folded a TV in half inside his trailer.”

The source added: “Apparently, Pete’s been given some time off to get his s**t together and focus on himself.”

The star was not on set filming on Friday following the reported blowout, according to the insider.

It also remains unclear what exactly set off Pete’s alleged on-set outburst.

Law enforcement in Long Island City, New York, where the show is currently in production, told The U.S. Sun that a police report had not yet been filed over the alleged incident.

The U.S. Sun reached out to Pete’s reps and reps for Bupkis for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Pete and Kim Kardashian called it quits over the summer.

He has been keeping a low profile but appeared in good spirits earlier this month when he made a rare appearance in public.

Although Kim, 42, and Pete are no longer a couple, the pair are still thought to be in touch.

CLOSE CONTACT

Earlier this week it was reported that the former lovers were in regular contact via text.

Kim reportedly feels her life is “too messy” to get back together with her ex, citing ongoing drama with her former husband Kanye West.

An insider recently told The U.S. Sun: “They do still talk a lot, they are good friends and laugh a lot – he’s holding in there and tells her that he would jump on a plane at a moment’s notice for her.

“But Kim thinks life is just too messy now and she doesn’t want anything serious right now – while he clearly does. She doesn’t want to string him along, she doesn’t want to do that and give him hope there’s a chance when she knows there’s not.”

Kim called time on her nine-month romance with the New York native in August, blaming their demanding work schedules.

The mom-of-four met Pete when she guest-hosted SNL following her split from Kanye.

Rapper Kanye, 45, was a constant problem during the relationship, publicly belittling Pete, threatening the comic, and sharing private messages between them on social media.

CUT IT

Prior to their split, it was revealed that Pete would appear on the upcoming season of The Kardashians on Hulu.

Fans were disappointed after the star was seemingly cut from a recent episode of the show, however.

In one scene, Kim was getting ready for the series’ red carpet premiere when she was grilled by producers about her “plus one.”

“Is anyone coming to the premiere with you? Who’s your plus one?” a producer asked the TV star while her glam squad prepared her for the event.

With her hair in curlers, Kim glared at the producer, hesitating to answer the question.

“Pete is actually my plus one, and I’m excited,” she eventually responded.

The producer continued to press for more details, asking Kim: “Is this your first red carpet [appearance] with him?”

The SKIMS founder quickly clarified: “We’re not doing the red carpet.”

The producer was shocked by Kim’s admission and questioned her decision.

The TV personality explained that she was walking the red carpet with her famous family, but without Pete because the show was “her thing.”

“This is like my thing, so he’s just gonna support,” the SKKN mogul added.

‘NOT WHAT HE DOES’

In a confessional interview, Kim elaborated, “When the camera’s up for him, it’s like a skit or a role. It’s not what he does.

“I’m obviously gonna talk about what goes on in my life, and he’s a part of that. But I also respect that this is my job, and this isn’t his job, so you might get a glimpse here and there, but it’s just, it is what it is.”

Back in the glam chair, Kim’s conversation with the producer was interrupted by Pete’s “groomer,” who arrived to assist the comedian with his look for the evening.

Fans were furious over the comedian’s omission from the episode since he was in the other room while cameras were rolling.

One person bashed the show, tweeting: “Wow Kardashians, ya’ll did a good job of cutting Pete out.”

Another ranted: “The new Kardashians show is going downhill for me. They used to be great TV because they kept it real, said if they were gonna do reality TV, they were gonna show it all and now it’s just a slew of their various business ventures.

“They cut out Pete, Astroworld, Kanye co-parenting, Scott [Disick]?”
