KYM Marsh denied she is the Harlequin on The Masked Singer after being bombarded with messages from fans.
Fans were convinced the singer, 44, was the one behind the mask after Harlequin dazzled with their performance of Diamonds by Rihanna.
But their hopes were quickly dashed as the Hear’Say singer denied she was the one behind the mask.
Writing on Twitter, Kym said: “Everyone asking if I am on masked singer. No sorry. Guess again guys xx”
Fellow soap star Lisa Riley commented: “Babes I’m not surprised….I said to Al last night…..that’s Kim as Harlequin
are you sure it’s not you?????”
She replied: “
deffo not me! X”
One person added: “That’s what someone on the masked singer would say”
Another said: “But that’s what Jason Manford said last year, and he turned out to be Hedgehog!”
Kym rose to fame as a singer on Hear’Say, after winning her way onto the band through show Popstars: The Rivals.
This comes after fans suggested the Harlequin was actually singer Gabrielle – by saying her voice is “unrecognisable”.
One wrote: “the masked singer on itv now harlequin must be Gabrielle.”
A second tweeted:”Harlequin has got to be Gabrielle! That voice is instantly recognisable!”
A third added: “Ok my guess for the first masked singer harlequin is Gabrielle. Her voice is very similar, the clues aren’t matching up yet, but I’m putting it out there.”
On Saturday’s episode, Seahorse was unmasked as legendary popstar Mel B from the Spice Girls.
The 45-year-old star landed in the bottom three alongside Harlequin, and Grandfather Clock in tonight’s instalment of the show.
The judges eventually chose to send Seahorse home – with three out of four correctly guessing Mel’s identity
While Jonathan Ross was convinced that the mystery celeb was Trisha Goddard, Rita Ora, Davina McCall, and Mo Gilligan all guessed Mel after picking up on her Northern twang.
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday, January 9 at 7pm on ITV.
