LAMAR Odom was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house in tonight’s shocking elimination and had parting words for ex Khloe Kardashian on his way out.
The former NBA athlete has made public pleas to the “love of his life” all season and used his emotional exit interview as one last chance to get her back.
Just one episode before this season’s finale of the CBS reality series, Lamar, 42, was forced to say his goodbyes as he was voted out of the house.
The tense elimination had UFC star Miesha Tate vote to send home Lamar, while actor Todd Bridges chose to keep him and say goodbye to Real Housewives Of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey.
Host Julie Chen Moonves, 52, then asked the Head Of Household this week, Todrick Hall, for the deciding vote as the decision was a tie breaker.
“Cynthia I think this house would not be the same without you in it,” the Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels singer confessed before adding: “Unfortunately Lamar, I have to vote to evict you.”
Following his elimination, the TV personality joined the live stage with Julie to discuss his emotional journey this season.
During a heartbreaking exit interview, he called the experience “life changing” and explained: “I’m from the streets.
“Mentally, I have endured a lot and I had to use that in this house… you have your ups and downs, but I’m leaving feeling good about the future.”
Lamar then had a message for ex Khloe, 37, who he optimistically told: “I miss you and I hope I get to see you soon.”
Shifting back to the game, the former Khloe & Lamar star said of his strategy: “In this game you never know, you have to expect the unexpected but I was prepared mentally and physically.
“I was always really by myself but thats how I wanted it to be, I didn’t want to get too close to anyone.
“Like I said, people come into your life in your reason, season or lifetime.”
He then opened up about asking Different Strokes actor Todd, 56, to be his “sober coach” in the household.
NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE
Julie asked how long he’s been sober now and Lamar responded “seven years.”
In October 2015, Lamar was hospitalized and placed on life support after being discovered unconscious at a famous Nevada brothel, The Love Ranch.
According to authorities at the time, the star had large amounts of cocaine and alcohol in his system which resulted in him suffering kidney failure, heart attacks and several strokes.
However, he has since claimed that the near-death experience helped change his life around and has used Khloe’s newly single status in an attempt to win her back.
Khloe and her now ex-husband married in September of 2009 after only one month of dating.
The pair split ways in 2013, but the Good American founder waited a few years to divorce after she decided to help him recover from his overdose he suffered as their legal proceedings were still processing.
She filed for divorce for good in May of 2016, and it was finalized seven months later.
