Motherhood isn't starting off well for EastEnders' Lily Slater
Thirteen-year-old Lily Slater gave birth to baby Charli in dramatic scenes on the popular soap opera EastEnders. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse for the young character as she puts her daughter in danger.
Chaos unfolds in Albert Square
Baby Charli arrived during chaotic scenes in Albert Square, which were recently aired on BBC One. Lily Slater, played by Lillia Turner, tries her best at parenting, but tension builds up and she ends up making a huge mistake with the newborn.
Disaster strikes with baby Charli
After a sleepless night with baby Charli, Stacey Slater, played by Lacey Turner, decides to let Lily take care of their daughter while she goes to work. However, disaster strikes when Lily and Ricky Branning are caught playing around with the baby by Jack Branning. This leads to accusations being thrown and Stacey dragging Lily back home.
A concerned social worker and a reminder from Jean
As Stacey and Lily try to paint a picture-perfect image for the social worker, Jean Slater becomes concerned. She tries to encourage Stacey to give Lily some space to make mistakes and learn. However, Stacey continues to nit-pick at Lily's parenting, leading to Jean reprimanding her.
Is danger still lurking for Stacey?
Stacey is reminded that she must trust Lily to protect Charli now that her stalker, Theo Hawthorne, is gone. However, as Stacey steps outside, she is confronted by something horrifying. Could Theo still be a threat? Will he make things even more difficult for the Slaters?
