The BBC has unveiled a sneak peek at its gritty new crime drama, Rebus, featuring stars from popular shows like Line of Duty, Bodyguard, Vigil, and Outlander.

Star-Studded Cast

The upcoming six-part series is set to premiere on Friday 17 May and is based on Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus novels. Outlander's Richard Rankin will take on the lead role of John Rebus, with Lucie Shorthouse from Line of Duty playing his investigation partner, Detective Constable Siobhan Clarke. Other familiar faces include Brian Ferguson, Noof Ousellam, and Stuart Bowman.

Exciting Plot Teaser

The series follows a younger Detective Sergeant Rebus who gets entangled in a violent criminal conflict after a run-in with gangster Ger Cafferty. As Rebus navigates personal and professional challenges, viewers can expect a gripping storyline filled with action, wit, and humor.
