LINE Of Duty’s Kelly Macdonald has revealed she’s only seen one episode season six and won’t watch the finale tonight after an “intimidating” hunt to discover the identity of H.
Probed on whether she’d be tuning in to the final instalment tonight, she replied: “Hell, no!”

She added in the interview on BBC Radio 6 music: “I tried to watch it. It turns out I cannot watch it.”
Kelly – who plays bent copper Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson explained: “It’s not like I don’t ever watch anything that I have done.
“It was just a bit too much for me. I thought I could watch it. I tried to watch it. It turns out I cannot watch it.”
Kelly she has seen her career soar over two decades after appearing in the iconic 90s film Trainspotting aged 19.
Other impressive credits to her name include Gosford Park, Intermission, Nanny McPhee, Boardwalk Empire, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Brave, and the Black Mirror episode Hated in the Nation.
But Line Of Duty mania – with 11 million people tuning in a night – has been a whole new experience.
She said: “I just know how many people are watching it. It’s so much pressure.”
And she confessed that she had never watched it before being cast.
“I’m one of the newcomers actually, because I hadn’t watched Line Of Duty until I was offered the part and so I was doing a bit of bingeing,” she said.
“I wasn’t going to turn up if I carried on. It was just too intimidating.”
Kelly joins Supt Ted Hastings, (Adrian Dunbar), DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) and DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) in the anti-corruption unit AC-12 chasing “bent coppers”.
Since Line of Duty first hit our screens in 2012, viewers have wanted to know who the mysterious ‘H’ is.
As things draw to a close with series six, many are convinced that Carmichael is the criminal mastermind to be at the heart of the police corruption on the show.
At one point she hammered her pen on the desk four times – spelling out ‘H’ in Morse Code.
However, fans are also suspicious of Hastings, Phillip Osbourne, Ian Buckells and dead Marcus Thurwell.
The Line of Duty finale for series 6 will air on Sunday, May 2 at 9pm
