LINE of Duty’s Vicky McClure was pictured fully kitted up in bomb disposal gear on the set of her explosive new drama.
The actress plays front line officer Lana Washington in ITV’s Trigger Point alongside Adrian Lester as Joel Nutkins.
The pair’s ex-military characters are called upon when a terrorist group threatens to cause havoc in the city of London.
Written by Daniel Brierley and executive produced by Jed Mercurio viewers can expect heart-pounding tension and clever twists.
New pics show Vicky beside a police car in her explosive officer garb. Unsurprisingly, when her helmet was removed she looked flushed in the heavy clothing.
The star is loving the role, recently writing on Instagram: “Work hard, Play hard 
. Can’t tell you how much I’m loving making #triggerpoint even if it is boiling hot working the weekend! I love my job 
.”
She previously teased the script was a corker after a cast read through.

The material and those responsible appear to have had a very strong pull on its stars.
After being announced as part of the cast, Adrian said: “I’m really looking forward to partnering with Vicky on this great new series.
