AUDREY Roloff allowed her daughter Ember to run barefoot through the street after making her participate in “cruel” swim lessons.
The Little People Big World star documented her children during their controversial ISR swim lessons this summer.
Audrey, 30, took to Instagram on Saturday to film her children Ember, four, and Bode, one, as they ran barefoot in the street.
The tiny tot’s toes were marked black from the road as they sprinted through a cul-de-sac without shoes.
Ember wore a flowy white dress with her hair in pigtails and Bode wore just a diaper as they played outdoors.
Audrey’s video followed her dedicated documentation of her kid’s controversial swim lessons this summer.
Last month, the reality star enrolled her small children in the “infant swimming resource self-rescue program,” which many fans deemed “cruel.”
The goal of the course was to teach babies as young as six months old what to do if they fall in the pool.
The instructors show infants how to turn over and float on their backs if they ever fall into the water unsupervised.
After five-minute classes for five days a week for six weeks Audrey’s kids graduated from the program.
The TLC star filmed her son as he screamed in turmoil during the sessions, and fans raced in horror to the comments section.
Though the pregnant mom said her son’s crying was “hard” to watch, she insisted that the lessons were “worth it.”
“Having them go through this amount of trauma is DISGUSTING. This is a wonderful way of instilling fear and insecurity in your baby,” a disgruntled follower slammed.
“The saddest part is that he will never know why he doesn’t trust you as a mom, bc he’s too little to remember this, but those feelings of fear will linger in his brain.”
Despite causing major controversy with LPBW fans, Audrey returned to the pool with Ember earlier this week.
The TV star filmed her daughter as she began her regular swim lessons with a private instructor.
The mother-daughter duo met the teacher at a public pool, where Ember jumped and paddled her way through class.
The little girl used a kickboard to swim across the lap pool to the other side.
Audrey and her husband Jeremy, 31, have been at odds with his siblings for years.
However, the young mom recently let bygones be bygones as she reconciled with her sisters-in-law for family matriarch Amy’s bridal shower.
A source told The Celeb Report that the tension between them “has eased” over recent weeks.
“Both brothers Zach and Jeremy are invited to Amy and Chris’ wedding later this month with their wives, and they will definitely be attending,” they explained.
“Everyone knows they haven’t seen eye-to-eye in a long while, but there was never any question to invite one couple over the other.”
The insider continued: “It could be incredibly awkward for them to spend all day at the same wedding, but the family would like them to get along more.
“Time will tell as to whether they end up totally avoiding each other, or the occasion pulls them closer together.”
