LITTLE People, Big World’s Matt Roloff received a visit from his four grandkids and boasted about starting his “latest project” on the farm.
On August 28, Matt’s ex Amy will be tying the knot with fiancé Chris Marek on the property.
Matt, 59, took to Instagram to reveal that he was spending the day with his grandchildren, as one photo showed him smiling on his golf cart with Zach’s son, Jackson, and Jeremy’s eldest child, Lilah.
The reality star captioned it: “Exciting times @rolofffarms building grandpas latest project.
“All the grandkids showed up today #jackson #ember #lilah #bode to time stamp the foundation with their precious hand prints.
“Love these youngins’ to the moon and back. ….maybe even more den dat!”
Matt also shared a clip that showed Jeremy, Audrey’s husband, helping write his kids’ name in the wet cement, while construction occurred in the background.
However, people were quick to point out that Matt’s “project” was cutting it close as Amy’s wedding will soon occur on the property.
One person wrote: “Thought no construction was gonna happen b4 the wedding?” while another added, exactly what I was thinking … construction before the wedding??????”
A third chimed in, “Is Amy going to be ok with this with her upcoming wedding…”
While Amy’s wedding is just around the corner, fans shouldn’t expect to see Matt and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler there, as they are not invited.
During a Q&A on Instagram Live featuring Amy and her pal Lisa Dixon, one fan asked the Little People, Big World star: “Will Matt and Caryn be at the wedding?”
Amy replied: “No. No, just too much history, and I wouldn’t want my ex at the wedding with his longtime girlfriend.”
Lisa then interrupted with: “Didn’t Caryn say on the show she wouldn’t even want to go? And I also thought it was interesting that [Caryn] just called herself ‘Matt’s longtime girlfriend.’”
While Matt and Caryn won’t be there, Amy is still going through with having the wedding at the farm in Hillsboro, Oregon.
A source previously exclusively told The Celeb Report: “Amy and Chris are now planning to have the wedding at the farm, and it will be in three months, things are coming together.
“It was Matt’s idea initially and Caryn went along with it because they are trying to keep things cordial between them all.
“The reason Amy didn’t want to have it at the farm at first is because of the emotional history there, and she didn’t know if everyone was on the same page yet.
“Caryn isn’t a huge fan of Amy, she feels they are more acquaintances than friends, but she just wants Matt and the family to be happy and for everyone to move on…”
