LITTLE People’s Matt praised his son Jacob for working on the family farm after snubbing Jeremy and Zach from the business.
Matt, 60, runs Roloff Farms, a 100-acre farm in Helvetia, Oregon famous for its 36-acre pumpkin patch.
Matt took to his Instagram Stories yesterday to share some video of Jacob, 25, working hard on the farm.
Showing off a clip of the expansive landscape, Matt said: “We have some visitors. Jacob, Isabel and Mateo.”
Jacon and Isabel secretly welcomed their first child Mateo in December.
“It’s a beautiful day on the farm. Jacob is trying to fix something, Isabel came out to take the little guy on a walk, and I’m just showing you how beautiful it is today.”
He continued, flipping the camera to selfie mode to show him sitting in the farm tractor: “Just sitting here trying to get some work done. Got in late from Arizona last night.
Matt showed off a patch of land and said: “This is roughly where the new house will be. Karen and I worked out our plans extensively while we were in Arizona.”
After loading up a truck and moving some dirt, Matt shared more videos of Jacob fixing an irrigation leak on the farm.
BIG FEUD!
Matt snubbed his sons from the family farm as he remains the President and Secretary amid their feud over the business.
The patriarch’s twin sons Zach, 31, and Jeremy, 31, both showed interest in taking over the farm, but Matt continues to be the sole owner today.
The Celeb Report exclusively obtained Roloff Farms’ annual business report filed on January 11, 2022.
The filing lists Matt as both the President and Secretary of Roloff Farms, as neither of his sons was listed.
FEUD OVER FARM
Matt responded on Instagram in May 2021 when asked if Jeremy bought the farm: “No, not yet. No, we haven’t settled what we’re going to do with the farm. It’s all being discussed actively.”
Jeremy’s wife Audrey wrote on Instagram around that time, saying that not buying the farm was the “death of a dream.”
The dad of three is instead focusing his attention on flying, as he received his student pilot certificate on July 23, 2021.
He is training in a Cessna 150J fixed-wing single-engine plane worth $30,000.
Zach’s wife Tori wrote on her Instagram Story when asked about buying the farm: “Some things just don’t go according to plan. But it all worked out for us.”
Zach and Tori, who are pregnant with their third child, ended up moving to Washington in October.
BIG BILL
Matt dropped over $2.6 million on renovations on the family farm including remodels and new buildings.
Matt has been renovating the popular tourist attraction and has updated fans on the progress.
The Celeb Report exclusively revealed the patriarch has spent $2,627,978 in renovations over the last two years.
Oregon property records reveal Matt spent $1,141,020 in improvements for the 2021 year and $1,089,070 in 2020 for one of the 32-acre parcels of land.
The improvements listed on Oregon property records include renovations made to the main home, which was built in 1914, and surrounding land, a barn built in 1965, farm implement building made in 1990, farm utility shelter built in 2007 and more.
Another parcel of land has $6,239 in improvements in 2021 and $6,906 in 2020.
A third parcel has $137,342 in improvements in 2021 and $147,616 in 2020.
A fourth had $90,086 in 2021 and a fifth parcel had $9,699 in improvements for the same year.
MOVING ON
The Secretary role once belonged to Matt’s ex-wife Amy until 2021.
She even sold parcels of land in her name to her ex-husband, who is now dating Caryn Chandler.
Caryn was his assistant for over a decade before they began dating.
The Celeb Report previously reported Amy, 57, sold 32.28 acres of land at the Roloff Farms address for $975,000 on August 13, 2020.
Matt took out a loan amount of $825,000 for the property exchange.
In June 2019, Amy sold a portion of the farm property to her ex-husband for $667,000, RadarOnline.com reported.
Matt and Amy bought the farm in 1990 when they first got married for only $185,000.
They divorced in 2016.
She is now married to her husband Chris Marek.
