LIVE guest co-host Lisa Rinna shocked Ryan Seacrest as she ditched the cue cards during the segment amid Kelly Ripa’s absence from the show.
On August 10th, actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, 39, appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan to promote her most recent project.

The Surface actress said: “I just finished a movie in Northern Ireland, Belfast. Filmed a little bit in Italy.
“That was a real treat for me. To be in Venice, one of my favorite cities as well. So much art and culture.”
Gugu continued: “There are so many things now open. And it’s been a really great cultural experience.
“To take in the food and culture, and the history.”
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star seemed swooned by Gugu’s appearance and blurted out: “You’re so gorgeous! I’m just gagged by it!”
The Morning Show actress blushed as Lisa, 59, added: “I mean, seriously! I have to say that out loud!”
Ryan, 47, moved towards the camera and asked: “Is that in the cue cards? It’s not in my notes.”
Lisa continued: “I’m rarely speechless. And you are just stunning. Your energy is so beautiful!
“Anyway, I had to say that.”
The RHOBH star has been filling in as a guest host while Kelly, 51, has been on vacation.
MAKING MOVIES?
Recently, Kelly and her husband, Mark Consuelos, 51, announced they have teamed up as executive producers for the upcoming Lifetime movie Let’s Get Physical, which also stars their son, Michael, 25.
According to The Wrap, Michael landed a role in the TV movie, which is from Lifetime’s Ripped from the Headlines series.
Michael previously played a younger version of Mark’s character, Hiram Lodge, in the CW drama Riverdale.
Let’s Get Physical will make its debut on Lifetime on October 15th.
Kelly and Mark will also executive produce another Ripped From The Headlines movie, The Disappearance of Cari Farver, based on Leslie Rule’s true-crime book, A Tangled Web.
The couple also shares two other children: son Joaquin Antonio, and daughter Lola Grace, 21, the latter who recently has been promoting her new song, Paranoia Silver Lining.
Kelly’s daughter posted several TikTok teasers leading up to the song’s release.

Meanwhile, Ryan joked about Kelly’s absence during a hilarious segment.
During the bargains shopping segment, the guest displayed customized embroidered pillows with various names.
While holding up the pillow made for Kelly, the guest said: “Kelly, we miss you. We got you a Consuelos one.”
Ryan said to the camera: “I heard she won the lottery. She’s fine.”
