Loki fans left hot under the collar as Tom Hiddleston is stripped totally naked in Disney+ premiere

LOKI fans were left hot under the collar after Tom Hiddleston was stripped totally naked in the Disney+ premiere of Loki.

Just a matter of minutes into the highly-anticipated new series, which was released on the streaming platform yesterday, viewers were treated to a flash of rippling abs.

Fans were treated to seeing Loki naked minutes into the show

Fans see Loki as he was in the Avengers: Endgame, having messed up the fabric of time so badly that he’s taken into custody by the Time Variance Authority.

Arriving at their correctional facility, the TVA suddenly strip Loki naked in order to put him into his prisoner clothes.

“Absolutely not,” Loki can be heard shouting as a large, smiling robot attempts to take off his clothes with his claw-like arms. “This is fine Asgardian leather.”

Before he can say anymore, the robot olds up a laser beam which incinerates his clothes to dust, leaving him standing naked.

Fans went wild over the close-ups, showing 40-year-old actor Tom’s rippling abs as he falls through the floor and into the prison.

“Was not expecting naked Loki in the first 10 mins but I’m not opposed,” one woman took to Twitter to celebrate the moment.

“Can’t believe I got a naked Loki 6 minutes in, Marvel really knows how to treat me right,” a second agreed.

“Naked Loki! We won,” a third joked, as a fourth concurred: “Loki naked? What? Okay I love this show already!”

Fans have been thrilled to see Loki back on screens

“6 minutes into Loki and Tom Hiddleston is already naked with just a collar on… I love this show,” another excited woman added.

While a sixth simply concluded: “I got a naked Loki. Naked, I tell you. Buckle up, I’m here to stay.”

Marvel fans have been desperately waiting for the latest series in the MCU to arrive on the streaming service, and yesterday was the day they finally got to see Tom back in action as the God of Mischief.

The series is set after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, however the writers have gone to great lengths to keep specific plot details under wraps.

The streaming service released the first episode this week

Fans had hoped to find out all its twists and turns in one go, but were left devastated to discover it was only the first episode that had dropped, not the entire series.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Not my normal tweet but I seriously don’t know if I can handle that I can only watch one episode of Loki today or if I have the patience to wait until all episodes are released so I can binge-watch.”

Another added of the wait: “Waiting for the next episode like, how am I supposed to wait A WEEK?”

Fans were disappointed they’d have to wait for the second instalment

Despite his status as a villain, Loki has long been one of the most popular characters within the franchise.

Tom, 40 played the character in a handful of the franchise’s films, including all three Thor films, 2012’s The Avengers, and 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War.

The character operated as the main villain in the first Thor film and The Avengers.

The trailer revealed how Loki had escaped captivity only to end up captured and detained by another organisation.

Loki appears to have been caught by the TVA, which is known as the Time Variance Authority in Marvel comics.

The series also stars Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Loki is available on Disney+ with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.
