LONG Island Medium Theresa Caputo claimed her kids “approve” of her secret new boyfriend following the divorce from her husband, Larry.
The former pair parted ways after almost 30 years of marriage.
The reality star sat-down with People and opened up about her new relationship, revealing: “I got the approval from my children. Everything’s great.”
The 54-year-old shares two kids, 28-year-old Lawrence and 26-year-old Victoria, with her ex-husband.
On her new man, she told the outlet: “[We’re] taking it day-by-day and just enjoying and embracing life one day at a time.
“I think this past year has shown us that we never know what life is gonna throw at us and I think I’ve learned so much over the past several years and, more importantly through my gift, is that we just have to embrace each moment and just be thankful.”
This comes just a few days after the Long Island Medium star first revealed she was off the market again, telling Extra‘s Billy Bush: “I’m dating, I’m dating. I am in an exclusive relationship.
“It’s very different from when I originally started dating, oh my God, over 30 years ago.”
“It’s very different,” Theresa admitted, explaining that these days, she lives “a very public life” as a result of her hit show.
She added: “People don’t want to live a public life. They want their privacy and I have to respect that.”
Theresa and Larry split in 2018, and the mother of two told Us Weekly at the time that the ex couple were not spending time together: “This is a grieving process, but things weren’t the same that they were 34 years ago.
“So, of course, I miss that aspect. But the way that things were at the end, no – I don’t miss that.”
While Theresa is busy with a new relationship, she is also focusing on a new season of her popular reality show, which just moved from TLC to streaming service Discovery+.
However, she was recently slammed for “only giving readings to celebrities.”
One person said: “Used to love your SHOW!!! Then you started reading more and more rich and famous people.”
Another added: “The famous folks she reads-I don’t really care. I’d rather she read the ‘every day folks,'” while one chimed in, “Not sure I like the look of this new format reading celebrities.”
Discovery previously said of Theresa’s new season: “Things may look a little different for everyone right now, but one thing that hasn’t changed is Theresa Caputo’s ability to connect with spirits while giving the gift of comfort and closure to many during an incredibly challenging time.”
New episodes of the series kicked off on February 5.
