LONG Island Medium star Theresa Caputo left September 11 victims’ loved ones in tears as she “connected” them to their dead family members.
The emotional meetings will be featured on the September 9 episode of the TLC show.
On Thursday, TLC released the teaser clip promoting an upcoming special titled Long Island Medium: In Memory of 9/11.
The clip began with a woman explaining that her mother was a flight attendant on the American Airlines flight that was the first plane to hit the World Trade Center.
Another woman explained that her “father was a passenger on flight 77 and died on September 11, 2001 at the Pentagon.”
A following woman shared that her daughter was a passenger on one of the flights, while she soon began to breakdown in tears.
THERESA STEPS IN
The clip continued as Theresa, 54, sat down with the victims’ loved ones for personal conversations in an attempt to connect them with their dead family members.
She first met with victims’ family members in New York City.
After Theresa correctly identified one woman’s late mother during the day of the tragedy, she broke down in tears after explaining the TLC star’s description matched a photo of her mother in the newspaper.
THERESA HEADS TO VIRGINIA
Theresa then visited the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
While meeting with sisters that lost their mother, Theresa said: “She says, ‘I just want my girls to know that I am watching over them.”’
Theresa later spent some alone time in a field, while she explained to the camera: “I can’t hear well. It’s almost like this deafening and I believe that that’s the souls protecting me from what they went through.”
The Long Island Medium star then asked one woman if she had “a brother figure on the other side that has passed away,” which made the woman bend over in her chair and cry.
The same woman said in a confessional: “After meeting with Theresa, I feel like I’m born again.
The emotional special will air in honor of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
