Midsomer Murders is being shown at lunchtime instead

“Because nothing says Christmas quite like a grisly murder in Midsomer,” one fan tweeted.

Last week Loose Women fans were left ‘cringing’ as Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Frankie Bridge took to the stage to perform Christmas songs together.

The festive cheer didn’t appeal to all as viewers complained the scenes made them ‘cringe’.

But the talented trio also decided to join forces and sing together as the show came to an end at lunchtime.

Kaye Adams also popped out in a Robin costume as the women sang Rockin Robin.

Viewers shared their thoughts on Twitter – most unhappy over the scenes.

One tweeted: “Colleen and Frankie bringing absolutely nothing to the table right now #LooseWomen.”

“Loose Women Rockin Robin, that’s was appalling, notice after Frankie’s attempt at singing in the castle she didn’t do a repeat today, these 3 sing for a profession,” said one unimpressed fan.

“Amazing the difference a bit of mixing and a few band members make,” the viewer continued.

Other fans adored the performance and rushed to give it some love.

“Great end of the show for @loosewomen amazing song to sing well done to @NolanColeen Brenda Edwards @FrankieBridge @kayeadams. Nice Robin outfit,” said one fan.

“@NolanColeen you still have a great voice!” tweeted one.
