LOOSE Women star Carol McGiffin has revealed a secret ‘feud’ with her co-presenter – after revealing her annoying habit.

The 62-year-old was debating whether “life is too short for long nails” when she admitted something she “can’t stand”.

Outspoken Carol said on the ITV panel show: “Do you know what I hate? Someone, who works on this show – not mentioning any names – is constantly doing this…”

She then tapped her nails on the desk.

“Oh my god that noise,” Carol shrieked.

“That clickety-click. I just can’t stand long nails.”

As promised, Carol didn’t name the co-star she was annoyed by – leaving it down to viewers to work it out.

Panellist Coleen Nolan recently responded to rumours the Loose Women panel is a hotbed of feuds – saying it’s true they don’t always agree.

However, the 56-year-old star insisted the most bitter arguments are the ones we seen on screen and rows don’t rumble on backstage.

Coleen said: “You don’t always agree but you’ve always got each others’ back. It’s a sisterhood.

“It would be a very boring show if we all agreed on everything, that’s what I love about it.”

She added: “When it ends, it ends at the desk. It never carries on afterwards.”

Coleen had been accused of being involved in feuds on the set of Loose Women, which is based at Television Centre in west London.

She said she would tackle the allegations directly on the show but later explained that she wasn’t able to.

But she quickly dismissed the claims and stars including Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter spoke out in her defence.

She later told OK!: “It really hurt. The girls have been so supportive – besides, none of us on Loose Women have ever said we wouldn’t work with anyone else. It was just so upsetting.”

Coleen added: “I get on with all of them. I would never refuse to work with anybody.
