Rediscovering Nostalgia

Loose Women star Frankie Bridge has taken us on a trip down memory lane by recreating some of the most iconic fashion moments of the 90s. In a national poll, these 15 moments were identified as the most memorable. Frankie has breathed new life into these looks, including Geri Halliwell's Union Jack dress, Mariah Carey's Santa catsuit, and Liz Hurley's daring safety pin dress.

Bringing Back the 90s Fragrances

This creative challenge was undertaken by Frankie Bridge to celebrate the return of two nostalgic 90s fragrances: Impulse O2 and Air. After 2,000 women signed a petition to bring them back, Frankie embarked on this project. The recreations were meticulously crafted by a team of expert stylists and wigmakers.

The 90s: A Decade of Iconic Pop Culture

A study of 2,000 adults revealed that 32 percent consider the 90s as the most iconic decade for popular culture, fashion, and beauty. Frankie Bridge said, "Impulse was always in my bag growing up and it instantly transports me back in time to the 90s."

Nostalgic Trends Making a Comeback

The study also found that 43 percent of adults have nostalgia for the 90s, with body sprays, shimmer eyeshadow, and crimped hair being some of the hair and beauty trends that people are embracing in 2023. Interestingly, 21 percent of those who have tried a 90s trend have even experimented with super-skinny eyebrows, one of the decade's most controversial looks.

90s Fashion Resurgence

Other iconic celebrity looks from the 90s include Rachel Green's "The Rachel" hairstyle from Friends and Madonna's cone bra from 1990. Will Smith's vibrant outfits from his role as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air were also a popular choice, selected by 13 percent of participants. The study revealed that 42 percent of people believe the 90s are experiencing a resurgence in terms of pop culture, fashion, and beauty.

A Journey Back in Time

Interestingly, the study found that 47 percent of people would prefer to travel back in time rather than into the future. This shows the enduring appeal and influence of the 90s on people's lives. Bartholomew Krysiak, Impulse spokesperson, said, "We have recreated some of the most famous 90s looks to celebrate the revival and return of a renowned 90s product, Impulse O2 and Air. We are transporting people back in time to relive some of their best memories."
