Loose Women Star Linda Robson Reveals Reason Behind Split with Husband Mark After 33 Years of Marriage

Different Lifestyles Led to the Breakup

After 33 years of marriage, Linda Robson, known for her role on Loose Women, has publicly announced her split from husband Mark Dunford. The 65-year-old presenter confirmed the breakup, stating, "We had some good years, but enough is enough." Robson explained that the couple wanted different things in life, which ultimately led to their separation. She described herself as a sociable person who enjoys going out, while Mark prefers to stay at home and has few friends he socializes with.

Changes in the Relationship

Linda Robson elaborated on the reasons behind their decision, stating, "You find out you don't want any of the same things. I'm a very sociable person and I like going out. Mark doesn't enjoy any of that, he likes to stay at home. He's not got loads of mates that he goes out drinking with or anything." She added that this difference in lifestyle caused a shift in their relationship.

Keeping Busy and Moving Forward

Despite the breakup, Linda Robson is focusing on spending time with her family and friends. She mentioned that she has planned a cruise with Lesley Joseph for this month. The Birds of a Feather star also surprised viewers of Loose Women when she revealed that she has been celibate for the past two years. This revelation was in contrast to her previous comments where she boasted about her adventurous experiences with Mark and their exploration of the Kama Sutra. Prior to her marriage to Mark, Linda was in a relationship with Tony Tyler for 11 years and they have a daughter named Lauren.

Linda and Mark have two children together, singer-songwriter Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27.
