In a clip teased on today’s Good Morning Britain and to be shown on Loose Women, Tanisha can be seen talking about how the pair have tried to re-build their lives.

Brenda, who stayed mainly silent, could be seen turning her face away from the camera.

She then pulled out a tissue to dab at her eyes.

Tanisha told how she had “got work to do” as she processed her grief for Jamal.

She said people had “held them up” to keep them going, to which Brenda said: “It is a blessing.”

Later in the chat Brenda, in a broken voice, told how they had to “keep going.”

One fan was quick to react to the emotional segment, and wrote: “Remembering #JamalEdwards. Gone way too soon and so much more to give. @brenda_edwards Your son was a Prince because he was raised by a queen.”

Jamal received an MBE at the age of 23 for his services to music – and he was a Prince’s Trust Ambassador.

And the trailblazer was also known for his charitable services and helping the next generation, setting up a series of youth clubs in London communities in 2020.

It was later revealed how he died from a “sudden heart attack” at the home he shared with mum Brenda.

An inquest was told how the cardiac arrest came after a late night cocaine and booze session.

At the time, Brenda said her son was “the centre of our world” as she paid tribute to him.

Celebrity tributes then poured in for the Londoner, who was held in high regard by many.

Brenda and Tanisha’s documentary will air on Loose Women at 12:30pm today.
