LOOSE Women star Coleen Nolan today showed off an ‘expensive’ new set of gleaming white teeth.
The 56-year-old then admitted she was smiling more as she was branded a “miserable cow” by her co-stars.
It came as Kaye Adams put on a pair of dark sunglasses and joked about the “glare” coming from Coleen’s direction.
“I have finally, finally had the old gnashers done,” Coleen told the panel on Tuesday’s show.
As they praised her new look, Coleen admitted: “It’s just something that I’ve always wanted to get done.
“I really look at teeth on people and I think in our industry and when everyone is having them done – you watch back on telly and think ‘oh, I need those teeth doing…!'”
She explained: “As a mum, as it is an expensive thing to do – I’ve put it off for years going ‘no, I can’t justify it’
“But the kids were like, you’ll justify spending money on us or money on the house and for the first time ever, they were like ‘mum just do it’.”
As Kaye recalled getting her own teeth done eight years ago, she asked Coleen: “Do you find yourself generally smiling more? Cause you’re generally a miserable cow”
Coleen admitted: “Yes!”
Before Kaye quipped: “Because you used to be a miserable cow!”
She then put her hand over her mouth in mock horror and asked: “Oh sorry, did I say that out loud?”
Watching the exchange, Brenda Edwards joked: “Don’t think the teeth are gonna change anything!”
“So glad to be back,” Coleen added dryly.
Last week viewers were treated to pre-recorded episodes of the show as panellist took a summer break.
